Leeds game on Canary Player?

Recommended Posts

Don't be silly. That would mean relating to the fans and providing something they want rather than announcing new 'primary partnerships' with companies specialising in management pseudobabble.

Unfortunately I don't know whether there'll be any Canary/Club player stream against Doirty Leedz?.....

Although I do know that our FA Cup tie against the scousers is on ITV 1 this coming Sunday.....I assume ITV are hoping for a one-way goal-fest....

I do hope we prove 'em wrong.....

Hi,

Any idea if we can watch Leeds match for £10 stream on club player?

I can't see any info.

You should be able to. It isn't 3pm on a Saturday, so the black out shouldn't be in force.

I don't think it's available if it was originally scheduled for a Saturday

Why was it moved to Wednesday? I can't remember.

Because both clubs are involved in the FA Cup fourth round at the weekend, when the game was originally scheduled. Why there isn't a blank weekend for the fourth round, and why our game with Leeds was brought forward as a result, I have no idea.

If it's not on the club's website, then 'no'.

It was brought forward because the club wanted to keep our good run going in advance of the Liverpool match. 😉

When you get one of the Prem top clubs playing a lower division side there's always a massive bias towards them in the commentary, but actually it's great viewing if there's an upset so let's hope we can deliver one.

The match will be treated as a weekend fixture as far as I'm aware, so no legal way to watch it in the UK unless at Elland Road.

Yes - Núñez (Marcelino) to score a brace.

It doesn't say non UK only either, although I'm not inclined to risk buying in case it's blocked.

Good. That should mean an 'illegal' stream is also available 👍

I’d agree with you Matt but for some reason it is on Canaries TV. Maybe something to do with the original fixture being turfed out of it’s slot by an FA Cup match ?

There will be umpteen streams easily accessible, almost all in HD and carrying Radio Norfolk commentary, - as there has been it would seem for every league game for a fair few seasons.

I did try Canary TV when it first came out but found it was quite as a bit of faff, did not always cover the game I wanted and occasionally froze.

To be honest, I cannot see why anyone bothers with it now.

The rivers can buffer a bit, occasionally, but then again the same for Canaries tv. I used to pay for it quite often but have stopped now. Seems like they had blocked my vpn anyway.

Canary TV is a load of turd. I got fed up of paying for broken audio etc. You can find elsewhere..

If you switch between the dozen or so ones, you can find a 'non buffering' stream.

I don't think £10 is a bad price so I tend to pay it if the options there and I'm not going to a game. I couldn't be someone who complains that Delia & Michael haven't spent enough of their money on players and then choose an illegal stream over a £10 fee. But that's just me, seemingly. 🙂

No ripples on the river that I usually watch.

And at £0 it's a bargain.

The problem is you would think the £19 service would be perfect and the streams low quality and often pausing etc. Whereas any problems are with the paid canary TV service.

I think it is now regarded as home taping once was. Teenagers taping the Top 20 onto some C60. And the thought that showing games would affect gates has to be questioned. Yes, I am certain it would but not in every case. Go back a few years an the cowshed in binland often scrapped by with 12,000. Now they are riding high in the Champs where games are shown their games have more that doubled.

I suspect with us it is those who are exiles, and those who for various reasons. Illness, age etc or even affordability cannot get to CR.. A life line for that latter group, and the exiles.
