Worryingly I’m not even mildly excited about the team announcement.

Even if the team contains Sara, Nunez, Rowe, Sargent and Sainz I’m still expecting a dire and boring performance from a Wagner team.

Checked the pitch. Old-school 4-4-2 with no-fuss midfield-bypassing hoofball up to Barnes & Sargent. McLean best at the 70 yarder with Sara sitting deep to dish out the 50 yarders.

A generational classic incoming.

No Sorensen or Forshaw even on the bench. It seems we are not even interested in trying to plug those gaps in midfield. As @mrdi says above, **** around at the back followed by hoofball to the diagonals coming up, folks. Enjoy!

Thank you, don’t think we’ll win but 11/4 deserves a score on that. Over 4.5 goals @11/2 is done too.

Can't help but feel that Barnes has done nothing to keep his place and that Idah could feel a bit hard done by to not get the start beside Sargent?

I guess that Idah is our plan B, but he's not going to improve without starts.

To be fair Forshaw is out again and Sorensen is getting minutes with the u21s.

That and I doubt either are the answer to be fair.

Idah is really only effective when he comes on late and uses his pace & strength against a tired defence. Every time he starts, he‘s off it.

IMO, our starting XI is better without him in it and I’d rather focus on improving the team than improving one individual.

Agreed..That and Idah has had more than enough starts to impress this season and imo has failed more times than hes impressed. But he does do well coming off the bench

Pretty weak bench but that sums up.our squad.

We should sell or give away Foreshaw this window

Wow, we have 3 kits, traditionally Hull was always a fixture we wore a change kit, tonight we're not. World's gone mad.

When you look at that bench it makes you realise how weak our squad has become. Not much there at all.

Same could be said for Hull really.

OK so they've got Billy Sharp, but he's 38 next month!

Probably the lineup I'd have gone for in Wagner's shoes. It's not often I've said that this season.
