Mello Yello 2,298 Posted December 16, 2023 Norwich City owner Delia Smith 'shaken' at arrival of derby..... Football fans at today's East Anglian derby have hurled beer cans and flares at Delia Smith's car as she arrived at the match. She headed to Portman Road in Ipswich to watch the Canaries but was met with a hostile reception of blue flares and chanting. One Ipswich fan attacked Delia's grey BMW by throwing a beer which landed on the bonnet and a flare was also stuck to the back windscreen. The celebrity chef and husband Michael Wynn-Jones followed the Norwich team bus to the stadium and the Portman Road car park was protected by a police escort. Delia appeared shaken as she entered the Ipswich stadium. The match wrapped up with a 2-2 finish and Norwich's unbeaten derby day streak has remained intact. The draw means Norwich haven't lost the derby in nearly 15 years, with Kieran McKenna's men set to travel to Carrow Road in April.

......and Smith must score. 1,349 Posted December 16, 2023 Not a great look for the Ipswich lot is it ? They must have turned into Liverpool supporters all of a sudden. Like or loathe Delia and her husband this sort of thing is just unacceptable. Well out of order and let’s hope the culprits get caught.

king canary 7,643 Posted December 16, 2023 Bunch of ****. Got to question whoever was in charge of security there too. Either keep these morons back or find a better way Delia and Michael to get into the ground.

It's definitely not a defence of the people at fault, but the owner (I presume that she's the owner) of Norwich City rocking up to the home of a rival might incite a wee but of a passionate rebuke. Beer cans you say? Maybe it was a welcome gesture. A pre-game drink? Didn't really do their homework then as she's known to like a nice glass of Shiraz now and then 😊

The people who did it are utter scum bags who should spend the night behind bars But you can make up your own narrative in your head. 🙂 I just checked the score on SofaScore Have you been on holiday the several times I've said that Norwich are a big club who belong in the EPL? Psst. I'm a Manchester United fan... who is awaiting a 0-7 defeat against Liverpool tomorrow. You might not be a scummer but you certainly showed us all that you are scum.
