No. Although driving while over the limit is incredibly dangerous and against the law it’s not illegal to drink alcohol at the wheel, so by default it’s not illegal to have open alcohol containers in the car.

The main alcohol law to remember is the UK drink-driving law, which states you can only drive if you are under the national drink-drive limit, or else face heavy fines and a driving ban.

So does mine but you have to use the footbrake first. Once that’s on the brake lights go off.

It’s the drivers who never use a handbrake at traffic lights who do your retinas in.

Automatics for you and sorry that's me a bad habit i put it in Drive a foot on brake when stopped never use handbrake at all !!!

Obviously the top one is the Double Deckers (a gang of awfully well-spoken stage school kids getting up to all sorts of high kinks and scrapes with I seem to remember Melvyn Hayes from It Ain’t Half Hot mum) and yes, the bottom one was the Banana Splits, with the legendary theme tune. I think it was a load of short cartoons and film series held together with bits in the middle of the Splits telling jokes and running around to music. I can still remember a few of the things they showed, a Tarzan-alike character and a cartoon that might have been called Arabian Nights?

Banana Splits had a great theme tune, mind you Double Decker was pretty catchy too.
