Really poor and frankly worrying team selection tonight for me. For Dean Smith to watch that game on Saturday and then put this line up put away from home is a concern. We cannot rely on bringing Todd and Pukki on every week after an hour to turn the gsme. We need to impose ourselves on teams. Dowell and Sinani together away from home against hard working sides is not the right formula.

Why not start with Todd and Teemu and be ahead for once?

This side would struggle against Kings Lynn

Premiership next season

Just shows what a poor league this is

Idah behind Pukki is how we score goals in this league ala Steipermann/Pukki

Agree to some extent. I think it’ll be horses for courses this year and inevitably sometimes the courses won’t be as predicted. Ramsay was good when he came on last game, more so than Todd, so his place was fair despite not being on it today.

I’m certain the mug man will make a play to mix it up and take the game beyond the dross of Brum.

Hat at the ready to devour

The fact we are the better team with that midfield is another fine example of how poor this league is. It's genuinely worrying the gap between the two leagues.

Good first half for us. Dominated throughout. I am looking forward to the second when we bring on our finishers and win comfortably.

Or how they were successful in February, with Pukki behind Idah.

Josh not on it tonight. Energy levels waaaay down.

Yep I thought the same, much less of a menace so far tonight than he has been the last few games.

No changes. One wonders what the Smith plan is, or even if there is a plan other than to bore the opposition into a coma.

But we had much the better 2nd half on Saturday with them on the pitch. Forget what happened in the past. The present is tonight and Dowell and Sinani are passengers.

Lets be blunt. You don't like Smith. If he'd have made these changes and we were still 0-0 you'd be calling him thick for making too many changes.

Same as last week then.

We simply must find a way to start Pukki, it's bordering negligent having him on the bench.

Can anyone confirm, after the first 45 minutes, that Smith’s team selection was dreadful?

No Todd and  no Sara are questions for me when Dowell and Kenny are starting

Smith needs to correct the monumental **** up that was his starting lineup tonight and not make the same error on Saturday too.
