cambridgeshire canary 7,163 Posted January 2, 2021 (edited) Having now lost 2-0 to Palace the awful run continues, 17 matches since they last saw a win. Could we see a new team taking the spot from Derby as the worst ever Prem side? Here's hoping- Happy new year! daisy 141 Posted January 2, 2021 Enjoying their demise, only regret is that the thugs that support them aren`t there to witness such a poor show. My mate had his jaw broken by one of those cowards so I`m quite enjoying seeing them lose every week.

alex_ncfc 686 Posted January 2, 2021 Any other team would have sacked their manager to try and give themselves a chance by now...surely? Absolutely hilarious stuff. Keep it going 😂

If we go up and when they go down he’d be a player I’d be happy to get here.

K Lo 237 Posted January 2, 2021 I hope that Sheff U don't cruelly steal Ipswich's Prem record of (now joint) biggest defeat.
Bill 1,788 Posted January 2, 2021 They need to start selling off players this month, so as to begin the adjustment for the Championship, as the points needed to get to the late 30's in points - to have a hope of staying up, are such........ that per game around 1.7 would have them in the top three had they achieved that average over their games so far it is impossible to imagine that happening, so time for the blades to cut back, give some in the squad the chop, sell Billy Sharp...... K Lo 237 Posted January 2, 2021 Of the 20 games played by the bottom 4 teams in the last 5 matches: Wins - 0 Draws - 11 Losses - 9 My guess is that's the bottom 4 end of the season.

I get there's a difference in the quality to what Liverpool require to us or Sheff Utd, however, I do wonder if Liverpool thought his ceiling might not go much higher and took good money for him. Pukki Blinders 96 Posted January 2, 2021 I think they're taking the "Take your time, take your time, Sheffield United" song a little bit too seriously when it comes to getting that first win of then season 😬 Such a shame. Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.
Mullet 293 Posted January 2, 2021 As Billic would say: they never even tried anything. How has Wilder still got a job ? Having said that its too late to do anything now the horse has truly bolted and ain't coming back. The fans must be going through absolute embarrassment and agony at the moment

I believe they also have a buy back clause, so must think a lot of him. Yes I saw him play for Swansea last year and his performances were superb. 10 in 20 games. Yes I do say absolutely brilliant for them last year, certainly thought he’d turn Sheffield down as it’s not his game at all.......bad move for him.

Not convinced about him in the Prem but he's got time on his side and he might need the right club.

sgncfc 1,274 Posted January 3, 2021 Still think it's too early to call. The bottom 6 are all pretty bad this year in terms of points accumulated. It looks like 30 points could be enough to stay up.
