Capt. Pants 4,234 Posted November 9, 2019 Hope not. He might resign if it gets nasty but Webber won't sack him, not this season anyway.
hogesar 9,673 Posted November 9, 2019 Obviously not. We have a bunch of impatient fans but even West Ham with the hundreds of millions theyve invested have lost 6 in a row.

Which I think is pretty low and negative to be fair given their standards. Im just trying to get an idea of perception, what bothers me about the EDP is they’re very quick to be negative without offering a balanced opinion at the moment
Cantiaci Canary 557 Posted November 10, 2019 He totally deserves a free hit at things this season and should only come under pressure if we're off the pack by next Christmas (2020).

Samwam27 527 Posted November 10, 2019 Whatever happens we mustn't make the same mistake we did with Hughton. We need Farke to continue whatever happens and keep building
Samwam27 527 Posted November 10, 2019 Just read it, "It might be a minority but it was loud enough to be heard; those who feel Daniel Farke has taken this club as far as he can." I hardly think so with yet another manager, in the promised land, expected to work on a shoestring. For such a shoestring Farke is wearing some might fancy shoes, courtesy of the small miracles he's performed. Rather than Farke I'd open up that can of worms already being discussed, that this club's owners are the ones who have consistsently shown they've taken the club as far as they can. And disappointingly they're still hear. If we ditch Farke now we only have ourselves to blame. There aren't many managers that could deliver with the financial peanuts this club allows managers to work with. Keep him whatever

Making Plans 936 Posted November 10, 2019 Even if we go down, which seems more than likely, I think we should keep him. Very difficult to survive in this League with one hand tied behind your back. PS - it wasn't a mistake with Hughton.

Paddy isn't a Norwich fan... Talk about reading a post and then running away with it! HaH was not suggesting Farke should be sacked at all, more that Paddy's words seemed to hint at the fact he COULD end up sacked. I doubt he will and he definitely doesn't deserve to be imo. Jim Smith 2,317 Posted November 11, 2019 I don't know where he's got that from to be honest unless that's his interpretation of the boos at the end of the game which to my mind were no more than one would expect when you've just lost to the bottom side at home in a 6 pointer and sunk to the foot of the table. I don't think I've heard any fans say that Farke has taken us as far as he can. I think he still has credit in the bank although I do wonder if he needs to add a specialist defence/set piece coach to his team because that is an area he continues to struggle to get to grips with. Any discontent that there may be (or could be if things continue as they are) is, in my view, aimed fairly and squarely at the board/owners rather than Farke. pete 319 Posted November 11, 2019 Enough credit in the bank to continue with the project into next season whatever division we are in. However a poor start in the Championship might see things change will expect to see a prominent performance. Certainly needs loanees to take a more active participation in the team DF has been pretty poor in utilising the loan system. Regarding Hughton he should have gone earlier. Carn 71 Posted November 11, 2019 I'll never forget what Farke done for us last year. We had zero expectations and we won the league. To sack him even if we get relegated would be utter madness.

GenerationA47 752 Posted November 11, 2019 Nonsense about him maybe being sacked - but he’s such a victim of his own success now! Ironically everyone (except me, as I was thinking at the time ! Saying this without any pleasure) was so positive about being comfortable in the PL after our promotion (out of the blue) last season and it’s backfired. You can’t generally fault optimism and confidence but in this case, the hyper-positivity seems to have cross-infected everyone, including the anti types and those with chronically short memories. Oh, hi Highland! Anyway, what I saw as a lack of realism has rapidly turned to huge disappointment for most, and for the Anti/short memory brigade to unconstructive anger, once we started experienced our combination of bad luck plus the team’s forced naivety (personnel & coaching wise). Still hoping for a massive against-the-odds fairytale turnaround. Boys need our support to go down fighting or maybe more. See you all in the upper Barclay for Sheff U!
