nutty nigel 7,534 Posted December 21, 2016 Welcome PUPs to week twenty one of our tenth Rays Funds season. It’s Christmas PUPs! I hope you all have a great one where ever you may be. [<:o)][G][<:o)][B][<:o)] For the festive fixtures we have Gegt picking the final six. Greg’s in great form having probably his best ever season in our PUPs league where he’s had 16/20 80% correct picks and sits third in the profitability table on +4.4. Greg’s also a previous winner when making the final selections so we are in safe hands for Christmas. Now I’ve spoken to Greg and he will be able to give me his final six on Friday evening so we have the Christmas Eve fixtures as well as any on Christmas day and of course the Boxing Day programme. So lets find some nailed on picks to help Greg to success and bring some Christmas cheer to us all. And of course most importantly our wonderful Downes Syndrome boys and girls. Don’t forget to pick from games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites. We’ve got another husband and wife team this week with Jellytot selecting the Norwich picks for the Boxing Day game at Reading. It’s a tough one but you PUPs came good for me last week and I’d love it if we can find some great options for Helen to get her name on Ray’s signature. Helen, you have a tenner to spend on the suggestions from the PUPs and your own. You can split that in any way you choose. Just need MMMK to confirm for January. And Feedthewolf could you step in and do the Norwich picks for the 21st: - Final Six Matches 07/01/17 – JB – Confirmed. 14/01/17 – Mandie Moo’s Mear Kat 21/01/17 – Cosmic Twin – Confirmed. 28/01/17 – ChelleCity – Confirmed. Norwich Match 07/01/17 – Lessingham Canary - Confirmed 14/01/17 – Hammond1612 – Confirmed. 21/01/17 – Feedthewolf 28/12/17 – Lake District Canary – Confirmed. Here’s a Christmas greeting from our friends at the CSF : - So now I’ll hand the thread over to Gregt and Jellytot. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls.. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Greg and Helen ... the thread is yours.......[:)]........ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,4, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, Feedthewolf, AJ, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £1772 for the Community Sports Foundation. AJ 1,221 Posted December 21, 2016 Hello all,For me this week it''s a trip to 2nd placed Sheffield who face bottom side Oldham. Sheffield should have enough in the tank to beat Oldham, but Oldham have drawn a lot this season. Sheffield Utd Home WIN @ 1.44For the Norwich bet, Norwich to win and both teams to score @5.5 at the moment looks quite tempting.Best of luck Gregt and Jellytot, we''re in good hands this week. And of course, Merry Xmas to all your Pups! Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,220 Posted December 21, 2016 Happy Christmas one and all...!...🍾🌲🍸😘😂👍🍰🍰🍸In the spirit of camaraderie and brotherhood of (wo)man, I will sup from the TNS cup also.....The New Saints vs Cefn Druids - Home win........good luck Gregt...👍👏💪🍾As for Jellytot''s Norwich bet, it may be that an away game is well timed and will encourage us to be a little more circumspect - which conversely may well increase our chances of winning. With this in mind I might punt the lot on:Norwich not to lose..Well if can''t through a bit of reckless positivity about at Christmas, when can you eh?...Parma 😂👍👏😘👌❤️💁🍾🍸🌲🍰💪🌲🌲🤓

Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted December 21, 2016 The very best of luck to our husband-and-wife team! Having tied the knot this year, I am acutely aware of the importance of teamwork, and I''ve got everything crossed that you''ll be able to work together to win some dollar for the CSF this weekend. Also, Nutty, I''d be delighted to do the Norwich picks for the third weekend in January, many thanks for the opportunity. For the final six, Besiktas to beat Gaziantepspor on Christmas Eve. Besiktas are in second place with a 5-2-0-17-7 record at home, whereas Gaziantepspor lie third from bottom with an away record of 0-2-5-4-11 - they have also lost their last seven in all competitions. Odds should be about 2/11.For the Norwich match, the odds are remarkably even considering the teams'' respective form, with Reading at 13/8 to Norwich''s 17/10. They have won their last four at home and we have lost our last four away, so those odds are bonkers IMO.In my opinion there is very little value in piling on Norwich-friendly outcomes here. I would love to eat a man-sized slice of humble pie on Boxing Day evening, but I''m going to suggest Reading to win and both teams to score at 4-1.
Van wink 2,994 Posted December 22, 2016 Off to Belgium for Christmas, Club Brugge home win for me please. For City, what can you say....over 3 goals.Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year PUPs.

The Great Drinkell 50 Posted December 22, 2016 Up until last week when Leicester turned things around in 45mins against a 10 man Stoke, I have been in good form. so maybe now the form will be dipping.I''m going to suggest Notts County V Doncaster away win for the him in our him & hers team of pickers.Any for her I''d suggest a No goal scorer as I think this will be a do not lose approach for both teams.Have a great Christmas all and enjoy the break. Graham Humphrey 13 Posted December 23, 2016 League One for me this week and second-placed and in-form Sheffield United should see off bottom-placed and out-of-form Oldham Athletic. For the Norwich bet, anything over 3.5 goals might be a decent shout. Unfortunately I would expect most of said goals to end up in our net...Best of luck and Merry Christmas to Greg, Helen and all PUPs.
lappinitup 629 Posted December 23, 2016 League One where Rochdale (8-1-2-23-8) entertain Chesterfield (1-2-7-10-18).Rochdale v Chesterfield........Home win.For the Norwich game, Christmas has traditionally been a time for topsy turvy results so with Readings impressive home form and City''s recent stumbles, I''m going for a comfortable City 0-3 win.Good luck Mr and Missus T.
