JC 0 Posted November 30, 2006 As we beat Leicester, I can''t moan about Grant, Delia, Hughes or any of those other idiots for a few days (insert ''humour'' disclaimer before someone takes this seriously)... I thought I would raise the important subject of the disgraceful state of sausage rolls available at carra on match days. They are FLAT, have little sausagement in them, and are GREASY!Sort it out Delia!

Hartsons Gut 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I am glad that someone else thinks this. I though they were limp and feel apart and were all greasy. I wont have another one again.
shyster 0 Posted November 30, 2006 How about the pastry pies?I say ''pastry'' ''cause that''s basically all they are. And what about the Cornish Pasties? Same again, hardly any filling and I was given one with two extremely, thin serviettes of which the molten lava hot grease seaped through & after approximately four minutes of switching the pastie from one scolded hand to the other I was pretty close to being carted away to hospital for a skin graft. Syteanric 1 Posted November 30, 2006 the service in the barclay is shocking! i get a coke at half time rather than a pint, and theres a certain young lady who seems intent on completely ignoring me every single week! she looked at me 4 times on tuesday as i stood there money in hand, then promptly went and served someone else!praps if they hired adults instead of 15 year olds supplementing their papaer round income the service might improve!jas :)
Rasputin was a C... 0 Posted November 30, 2006 They really are very poor quality sausage rolls thats for sure. As you say, far too greasy and not enough sausagement.
Hump 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I have to agree that the standard of fast food at Carrow Road is appalling considering who we have at the helm. The cost is also too high.Lets invite Delia to a meal of overpriced pies and cold chips washed down by a bottle of the most expensive soft drink in Norfolk-There are more people with Morrissons bags than not so they must be losing income through their greed -
Ashwood 25 Posted November 30, 2006 Surely we must be able to blame Hughes and/or Robinson for these sausage rolls, after all anything else just wouldn''t be cricket !
Tumbleweed 106 Posted November 30, 2006 Sorry to disagree but I have had a couple of pies this season and both have been really quite good. One was steak and red wine I think and the other was chicken and something else.Oh and to get back "on-message": PG out, Delia out, Terry Postlethwaite out, Richard Balls out, Andy Flintoff out, Rob Andrew out, David Gest out, Over and out. sheded 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I`m kind of glad this subjects turned up ! does Delia actually bother to taste the crap thats being chucked at the masses ? if she did , I`m sure she`d look around for a sick bag ! this is NOT a good scenario Delia ...... you should get rid of that catering ( I use the word loosely ) firm ASAP ! I wouldn`t feed that stuff to my dog , the RSPCA would have me for animal cruelty , you made your reputation on the catering trade Delia , but your losing credibility by contracting those pigswill fabricators into Carrow rd ! Dont lose touch with the crowd Delia , you may need them one day .........
CanaryNut 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Perhaps they are feeding us all that fat - after all we are canary supporters - so that our reserves are built up for the winter months - I am sure Bill Oddie would recommend it (for the true bird population anyway)!Seriously, I tried a hot dog and chips from the independant stall outside the Jarrold Stand on tuesday and thought that this in comparison was pretty good. Food for thought as they say for the rest of the season..............

Huddy 0 Posted November 30, 2006 A tip for you sausage roll loversGet to the riverside area 10 minutes earlier than usual, go into morrisons and you can usually get 4 sausage rolls for the cost of 1 in the ground. They usually taste 10x as good and are usually warm. They are about 30p each i think. Another tip for Morrsions is the hot counter which sells a wide range of stuff. You can get 10 chicken bites or nuggets for about £1 and they are usually good as well. So, for the next game buy better food at half the cost!

Mello Yello 2,538 Posted December 1, 2006 I wonder if the 100% pure unadulterated lardy sozzie rolls - are on offer in the Delia and her dependable lapdog Directors'' "snout in the trough formation eating team''s" lounge?Nope........probably not.......Still, as long as the ''bestest fantastical freepayin'' fans'' have somethin'' costly, but wet ''n'' warm to fill ''em at halftime..........as well as a moderate dish of ''Doncaster''s Delight'' with a pretentious pint of patronising pap to wash it all down with.....Will keep the baa'' baa'' baa! flockers on-side.BLEURGH!......... ;~P"Don''t believe the HYPE!"[H]

Unlucky Fried Kitten 0 Posted December 1, 2006 I never buy anything at half time. I don''t need to add anything to my girth for a start, and I consider the prices to be quite extortionate. I resent having to pay a price which is about twice what something is worth. Baker''s Oven pasties are quite good and cost just over a pound. How much are Delia''s delights - £2 plus?
