canarybubbles 1,944 Posted April 13 More or less what we expected. The Preston coach has done a great job in terms of results but they are as dull as ditchwater. Would you want to watch this sh*t every week? Thank God after the industrial approach of Wednesday and now Preston, our next two games are against teams who try to play football.
Robert N. LiM 4,493 Posted April 13 Weak bench again a worry. Really don't want to ask too much of Rowe, but he seems like the only difference maker. Going to be another tough shift for the starting XI, I suspect.
Grumpy 123 Posted April 13 Barnes certainly isnt having his best game. His contribution is poor I would like to think that someone off the bench could offer at least as much if not more.

KeiranShikari 1,440 Posted April 13 Did Rob Butler just suggest that Rowe was a better defensive winger than Sainz? Really?

Helsinki canary 243 Posted April 13 Terrible defending of the inswinging corners , Gunn is not commanding his 6 yard box at all and stays on his line, looks very fragile as we saw Tuesday night
Ken Hairy 3,781 Posted April 13 You'd think this sort of scrappy game would be perfect for Barnes, but he's looked miles off it today
TheGunnShow 6,006 Posted April 13 (edited) Angus needs to get his dad to tell him how the heck to come out on crosses. Hull are three-up now, but you've got to say, their run-in is tough and this QPR match is comfortably the easiest one they have; three of their last four games are away (Watford, Coventry and Plymouth) and at home to Ipswich. With Barnes up on his own nothing was sticking up front. Are we saying Van Hooijdonk isnt even good enough to play 10 mins vs a side who were 2nd from bottom? Remind me: Was it a draw or a loss in the end?

unique 439 Posted April 13 What would be wrong with having Rowe and Sainz on the pitch at the same time?

Pyro Pete 1,920 Posted April 13 David Fox doing co-commentary with Chris Goreham. I met him once at the recycling centre at Ketteringham. He had this tiny sports car, totally unsuited to a trip to the dump. Nice chap.

repman 635 Posted April 13 I really don’t see how Aboh or SVH for Barnes isn’t an improvement. He’s such a non threat at this point. As he’s probably staying on though I hope I reverse jinx him.
