Robert N. LiM 4,493 Posted March 2 To be fair, we were quite a lot better in the second half. Sunlan really poor, too.
Monty13 2,252 Posted March 2 Doesn’t matter how you get them, 3 points are 3 points at this stage. Great result, still in the hunt and Sunderland as good as gone.

S_81 861 Posted March 2 That could be a big three points. Despite the hooligans in the, errrrr, South Stand lol
Indy 3,317 Posted March 2 Good three points agree! Results matter now, we had the performance against Cardiff, it’s good to grind a result out too! We do need to rotate the team, some looked tired and probably need a rest! Middlesbrough next, maybe time for Sorensen to start and drop Barnes? Go more solid in the middle. Herman 9,825 Posted March 2 A 4 page match thread. Somethings wrong!!. Well done City. Keep fighting till the end.👏
Jim Smith 2,339 Posted March 2 Good result. Pretty awful performance. Once again a moment from one of our better players gets Wagner a win that his abysmal tactics don’t deserve. we won’t beat anyone decent playing that team in that awful 4-4-2 formation. it only works with Kenny as one of the CBs and Nunez in the middle. Desperately need to find some pace from the U21s whilst Rowe and Onel are missing.
......and Smith must score. 1,360 Posted March 2 That's one hell of a rainbow over the Snakepit.

The Real Buh 3,480 Posted March 2 That was a painful watch! Sargent sharpness the very slim difference Those that think we are playoff final bound might want to think again though.
NWC 245 Posted March 2 To be fair, I did call a City clean sheet in the PUPs thread, so I am claiming some credit for the score! 😁

Grumpy 123 Posted March 2 Not the best of games.I do wish people would stop this bellyaching about all the passing the ball around at the back..Yes it doesnt always look exciting but its part of the modern game now.As for McLean,he has been one of our star players this season wherever he has been asked to play,I think he deserves a lot more than the barracking that he got from the crowd today. Despite a lot of effort defensively and attacking I thought Sainz was guilty of a number of moments of poor control. For me the jury is still out as far as van Hoojhdonk is concerned. Norfolk Dan 308 Posted March 2 This is starting to look the perfect storm... False hope for the Portaloo fans.. end up 3rd.. We make it into 6th... 2 legged battle.... We turn them over ! Or a final at Wembley v them down the road... If that happens and we win, we should have a star on our kit, but under the arm pit of the kit!

I accept it's part position the modern game but it's the way we do it that is the issue. It looks so pedestrian, so tentative and slow. The Sunderland commentator today was mystified about our playing "walking football" as the home team. Edited March 2 by lake district canary

On current performances of the likely playoff teams I wouuld not put money on us getting past any of them. In the unlikely event of us meeting Ipswich its just 'sods law' that that would be the day that their quest to get one over us happens. It would be even worse if it was in the final.
