The Raptor 1,231 Posted January 14 Modern footballers are portayed as heroes worshiped by thousands yet obviously still have a normal life. Earlier I saw Sara walking his dogs. Previously I've seen Normann putting his bin out. What random everyday things have you seen footballers do? Catch a bus? Check a book out in a library? Can you tell I'm bored!? FenwayFrank 2,465 Posted January 14 Had quite a few players come into M&S to do a bit of shopping, Charlatans front man Tim Burgess used to come in quite regularly too but I don't see so much of him now.
Top corner 228 Posted January 14 I picked up Marcel Franke & Marco Stiepermann from Stansted Airport, it was after their summer break & it was prior to the 2018/19 promotion season. Franke didn't speak much, but I remember how Stiepermann was impressed with how the club was run....How times have changed.

......and Smith must score. 1,355 Posted January 14 Back in the early 70’s I was a little starstruck to see our very own ‘ George Best ‘ Graham Paddon exit a now long gone phone box by what is now the Anglia TV building on Prince of Wales Rd. Must have forgotten his mobile that day.
