Rays Funds for the CSF with the PUPs Season 17 Week 23

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Turner European Consulting and Cavell Healthcare

It’s FA Cup 3rd round weekend and we have the perfect PUP for this challenge with @Pockthorpe picking the final six. Pockthorpe, who is a great supporter of all we do on these threads, won his final six last season so let’s help him to a repeat with our very best selections from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of this weekend that are listed on the Bet 365 web site.

We have @PurpleCanary picking the final selections for our FA Cup tie at home to Bristol Rovers on Saturday. Purple is having a great season currently in second place in our PUPs league. He’s won with the final six five times and won before when making the match picks. So let’s help him to another win with some great options from those listed on Bet 365 or Bill Hill web sites.

January’s PUP of the month starts this weekend, so good luck all you PUPs. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs Syndrome and pan-disability boys and girls.

Take it away Gary and Purple, the thread is yours......

On behalf of us all a massive thank-you to our wonderful sponsors Turner European Consulting and Cavell Healthcare also our benefactor PUPanon2. For more information on our sponsors take a look at their websites below :-

Avoiding the possible pitfalls of the FA Cup by going to League 2 in Scotland...

Stenhousemuir (top, 13-4-1 33-12) v Forfar (8th, 3-8-7 17-23) - Home Win

For the match bet, City to win & both teams to score.

Greetings all from Oman!
For me this week it’s Turkey as I never had any over Christmas and Trabzonspor to beat Ankaragucu.

For our game I’m going for Hwang to score anytime

For @Pockthorpe Sunday in Turkey where I think...

Galatasaray          v          Konyaspor          Home Win

For @PurpleCanary I think Wagner will get some more minutes into Sarge so...

Josh Sargent to score with a header is 10/1.

Evening all. Chelsea to beat Preston for me please.

For City's game Hwang to score at any time.

Good luck Pockthorpe and Purple.

For the Final Six, an Away Win for Juventus at Salernitana looks good value at 9/20. Salernitana are bottom, with a 2-6-10 record while Juventus are second, 13-4-1.

For the Norwich match, Home Win and Both Teams To Score-No.

The very best of luck to @Pockthorpe and @PurpleCanary(or is it @PurpleCanary) and of course the rest of the PUPs.

Keep the suggestions coming. I will make my choices lateish tomorrow evening so PUPs can factor in all the new players we will be signing in time for the game...🤩

For @Pockthorpe, the FA Cup can be a pickers nightmare, with managers constantly inclined to go with squad rotations, however, I still fancy Southampton to be too strong for Walsall.

For @PurpleCanary there’s probably some value for players who’ve not played many minutes recently, so the likes of Hernandez, Placheta or Gibbs to score at any time. Onel is well overdue a goal.

Hi PUPs, off to Malta this week with SLIEMA WANDERERS VS. GUDJA UNITED (home win).

For the City bet I like GMF's shout of fringe players getting a run so I'll go for a double of Gibbs and Placheta to score anytime.

All the best everyone!

Arouca v BENFICA – away win, odds around 4/9.

For the Norwich match, I fancy Idah to score the first goal (I'm guessing he'll start).

Good luck, everyone!

North Bangkok University to win at home against Samut Prakan.

North Bangkok University have won their last five, with an 11/0 goal difference and have a 5-1-1 home record. Samut Prakan are not hopeless but have a 1-0-6 away record.

The odds are 1/8 and the game starts at 08.30 UK time tomorrow.

In bocca al lupo 🦮 Pockthorpe ed anche ai tutti i voi belli Pupetti 💃🕺🥰🦮🏖️

I’m dreaming of a trip to sunny Spain, so I think that it might be nice to see:

Barca vs Levantes Las Planas - Home win 🏡 🏆

As for cugino @PurpleCanary, I do like @nutty nigel ‘s Sarge with a header at 10s, though it’s a bit specific so a quadcast. I think we should expect a pretty strong team…

BTTS, Norwich to win, more than 2.5 goals, more than 7 corners.

Parma
