CANARYKING 708 Posted March 1, 2023 Never been myself but with the Ticket Office never open surely they need to fund another outlet.
Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted March 1, 2023 (edited) Pretty sure they are relocating - to be fair it was far bigger than needed, the inter sport bit has apparently already gone (living in Surrey it’s hard for me to know!) TIL 1010 5,246 Posted March 1, 2023 The Club have indicated they will be relocating to a new location so appears to be watch this space until a further announcement.
canarydan23 4,762 Posted March 1, 2023 I don't think it was the club's choice. Intersport were shutting up shop and we were subletting it from them.

alex_ncfc 686 Posted March 2, 2023 Wonder if they'll go back to the shop in the Castle Mall, which has been empty ever since they left.
daly 551 Posted March 2, 2023 No way could NCFC afford the rent and rates Everything about our club done on the cheap Just look at the outdated stand and dugouts more like Wroxham than a club aiming for TP

It's actually called the "Castle Quarter".....That's probably because there's only around a ''quarter" of the shops/retailers functioning.... Should never have built Chapelfield as one Mall is quite enough....harrumph!.... More Bookies, Greggs an' Spoons....It's the only way forward.....

That title awarded of course on the understanding that the lowest form of wit hasn't come into play. I note that some on here are very keen on the retention of the Carrow Road Ticket Office. Not me. Why maintain the expense of such a facility in an out of the way location? The Club retaining it's own control over a City Centre location is a different matter. When McNally was at Carrow Road, surveys rated his Salary as comparable to top 6 Clubs. I doubt that anything has changed with the Webbers even accepting Stu's point that his remit is challenging. Given the Club is struggling to serve its supporters in various contexts, the Budget Head requiring a cut is obvious.

Capt. Pants 5,008 Posted March 3, 2023 If the club were turning over 10,000 tickets every home game then getting tickets might be an issue. What with our high number of season ticket holders, reserved space for away fans and generally low casual ticket sales, I can't imagine there's high turnover of tickets? Whenever I've been in there there's little merch compared to the good old days either. If the rent in the Castle Quarter or elsewhere in the city centre is extremely high then you'd have to ask if it's viable to have another site.

mccanary 106 Posted March 3, 2023 For the size of the fan hub, there was very little in it ! The old castle mall shop was crammed with merchandise in comparison. Mac
