Just for clarity so we don’t keep seeing comments about him being up a mountain and no transfer business is being done.

I literally rubbed shoulders with him at the Dereham game yesterday.

Apparently he couldn't resist a quick climb up St. Nicholas church at half-time and was spotted abseiling down its north face just before the whistle went for the second half.

The City Hall clock tower is next, reportedly.

Connor Southwell said the same in the Pink 'Un live feed. No doubt those with an axe to grind will conveniently miss it.

Hasn't he already been back the last couple weeks people have been making sarcastic comments? I'm sure I saw it somewhere.

Were there sparks? So now he might be a fire risk.

Google. Pictures of it available too. No steeple, though, which would probably have suited our intrepid mountaineer more. 😁😁

Funny how last season’s failings are all forgotten now! Only Norwich fans can move on so quick from a record breaking season for all the wrong reasons, failing squad, failing manager, failing DOF who still hasn’t had the courtesy to apologise for his out of order reaction to fans and has Smith now got his team & squad?

Great to see that clean slate can be had and we move on.😉👍 OTBC

Don't you know he has a body double?!! Damnit man!

Now point on the annual report where we were robbed of money by the board to pay for his body double, it's there! 😅

Its probably his impeccable record at the level we are now at that affords him such time. And rightly so, some of the nonsense spouted about him was pathetic and clearly those that said it didn't even really believe it as they've moved on themselves..

Webber and Deano start with a clean slate as of now as do the players. It's a nonsense to bear grudges and as far as the Dof role is concerned I would have been extremely worried had he left and Adams took over, because that's what would have happened.

We can forget the sins of the past two seasons in the PL because we have made a loan signing and although we may well loss Pukki we stiil have Sargeant or Hugill up top. What is there to get upset about !

Hang on. Who has said last season’s failing are all forgotten? Or are we not allowed to post about Webber unless we make an unfunny pun about mountaineering?

Impeccable is a rather strong word to use unless its meaning has been lost in translation when a quick think back recalls the likes of the 4 year contract handed to Ben Marshall or the likes of another big flop in James Husband..Marcel Franke also springs to mind.

He was there with Zoe Ward and younger Master Webber as CUSDP and me spotted them returning to their car as we were waiting in a bit of a jam to get to the exit at the end of the game.

He has credit in the bank but nowhere near as much as he had this time last year. And his attitude towards the fans and the local press has done him no favours. If he cares about how his period with NCFC is ultimately judged, he needs a Championship season close to the last one.

With the budget he has had at both us and Huddersfield, getting both teams promoted, us to the title twice, the first time with primarily free transfers and German third tier signings, then yes, that's as impeccable as it gets in football.

Unless you can think of a CEO / Sporting Director with similar budgetary restraints who has done better than Webber? Well, really we'd need at least 3 who's done better than him, then we could put Webber in a category slightly below them? Otherwise, in football terms, yes he has essentially an impeccable record at this level.
