BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted July 2, 2022 Apparently he couldn't resist a quick climb up St. Nicholas church at half-time and was spotted abseiling down its north face just before the whistle went for the second half. The City Hall clock tower is next, reportedly.

Indy 3,471 Posted July 2, 2022 Funny how last season’s failings are all forgotten now! Only Norwich fans can move on so quick from a record breaking season for all the wrong reasons, failing squad, failing manager, failing DOF who still hasn’t had the courtesy to apologise for his out of order reaction to fans and has Smith now got his team & squad? Great to see that clean slate can be had and we move on.😉👍 OTBC 4

And rightly so, some of the nonsense spouted about him was pathetic and clearly those that said it didn't even really believe it as they've moved on themselves.. Capt. Pants 5,013 Posted July 2, 2022 Webber and Deano start with a clean slate as of now as do the players. It's a nonsense to bear grudges and as far as the Dof role is concerned I would have been extremely worried had he left and Adams took over, because that's what would have happened. He has credit in the bank but nowhere near as much as he had this time last year. And his attitude towards the fans and the local press has done him no favours. If he cares about how his period with NCFC is ultimately judged, he needs a Championship season close to the last one.

With the budget he has had at both us and Huddersfield, getting both teams promoted, us to the title twice, the first time with primarily free transfers and German third tier signings, then yes, that's as impeccable as it gets in football. Unless you can think of a CEO / Sporting Director with similar budgetary restraints who has done better than Webber? Well, really we'd need at least 3 who's done better than him, then we could put Webber in a category slightly below them? Otherwise, in football terms, yes he has essentially an impeccable record at this level.
