Pre season announcement already....

Recommended Posts

Just read the article, forgot about the season starting early due to World Cup shutdown. So when will they be running their guts out over Mousehold then??? 😁

So, no friendly at home against a decent team. Disappointing.

You are aware there's won't be our only pre season friendlies right?

Still a chance we might play Kings lynn at home!😉

Walk from Glasgow City Centre to the East End of the City was 'interesting'

Trips to the Capital a most beautiful city and of course Scotlands decent city. Yes I've thought that from the few times I've made that walk, but it won't be anywhere near as "interesting" this time as the area was done up a bit. Gone from Interesting to "mostly interesting".

there's also the safe standing part in Celtic Park now(for home fans)

For myself. Not had Scottish friendlies for years and now they do I can't go due to commitments

No it really doesn’t show. It’s cleaned up a lot here over the past few years and is a really great city to live in now. A lot going on here and a lot of lovely places, sure parts of it are a bit industrial but even then there’s a lot of great stuff popping up in those areas and it’s generally a great city.

Yes a tragedy so many are dying from the drugs. I won't say this is not a problem, but it's hard on the city to paint the whole place with that brush.

You are taking stats for all of Scotland and applying them to Glasgow. Dundee is actually worse iirc than Glasgow now. Nothing there substantiates your claim that a large drugs problem shows on the city.

It does when there's a distinct negative stat and thrown in is every bad thing as a possibility for it.

It's not pretty or a city with widespread wealth and yes problems, but it's a great place to live.

Least they have lots of Heroin! And don't forget the lovely 'Scots friend' aka the mixture of cocaine and Irn Bru

Tbh Cambridge is getting his references, as he seems to like doing regularly, from secondary sources whilst roundly ignoring actual people telling him completely the contrary. Just like his comment about the ‘rusty’ ground in Bournemouth (corrected by Tilly).

Come on Cambridge, try stepping away from the PC and actually going to see for yourself. Some nice places you could enjoy, get you away from officially the UKs most unequal city (2020). If I hadn’t been to Cambridge to see how lovely the city is I could write it off as an elitist city filled with over privileged fee paying school children. It’s not. Because I’ve been
