I think Smith and Butterfield have been released.

There's also Alex Pearce at Millwall, plus Mark Robins and Mark Bowen who are coming back as managers.

Blimey, some clever boogers on here (well done)

question is, can we put a team together

Rudd

Wisdom, Naughton........

Murphy Howson, Pritchard Johnson

Grabban Watkins

rough positions, short on the back line though

Alex Pearce at Millwall is one more defender. Shame Boro released Ayala or we'd have a full house.

I would guess that Jacob Murphy will be added to list and won't be playing at Newcastle next year

Canos at Brentford - and I suspect Harrison Reed will find his way back to the Championship

Elliot Bennet filled in at RB

A long list of players here many of whom gave great service to the club. The majority have now their best days behind them and i think there are few if any i would look to sign now. The Murphy twins shows the dilemma of young talent and potential. Neither have kicked on and with hindsight the fees we got for them were at the top of the curve and the resale of either would be a fraction of what we got. I wonder how many will join the long list of players returning to Norfolk when their playing days are over

Korey Smith and Jacob Butterfield both now without a club.

Wisdom can play centre back, so add Harry Toffolo at Huddersfield and you've got your back 4.

Daniel Ayala - Middlesbrough could possibly hold down the centre back role

But did not realise he had been released. Also surprised that his stats say he only made 7 appearances for Norwich. Seemed like more.

I like this game. I'll go with:

-----------------------------------Rudd-------------------------------
Naughton-------Wisdom-------Pearce---------Toffolo
-----------------------Howson------Johnson-------------------
--------Canos------------Pritchard------------Murphy------
------------------------------Grabban--------------------------------

I wonder why Korey's gone? Always thought he was a cracking player, wish we'd have kept him.

I saw a comment somewhere on social media from a BC fan (so could be codswallop) that it was a cost cutting measure.

Would you have Korey Smith back at Norwich?

Always rated his work-rate, and pretty sure he went on to captain BC.

You might be right about Reed, but I know a Norwich-based Fulham fan and they absolutely love him and want him signed permanently.

Not sure he'd think the same if he had received the red card he deserved in the playoff final and it cost them promotion.

Majority view on Bristol City forum is that he hasn't been the same since his bad injury.
