FenwayFrank 2,459 Posted December 14, 2016 Three wins two defeats and a draw in their last six games. All backroom staff sacked too. Foreign owners with no patience.
Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted December 14, 2016 I''d have him at the Carra.
king canary 7,606 Posted December 14, 2016 This is bizzare. All the reactions from their fans are basically asking ''what the fuck?'' Would have him hear if Neil leaves no problem. Punched well above their weight.

The Walking Man 13 Posted December 14, 2016 That is absolutely mental! What a baffling decision. It''ll be interesting to see who takes over.
PurpleCanary 5,562 Posted December 14, 2016 This is probably the big-name theory of choosing a manager. New owners (especially from overseas) come in and think what they need is someone with a high profile in the game, irrespective of whether they can manage or not. Just as with Wolves sacking Jackett and replacing him with the hilarioulsly useless Zenga. Rowett will not be out of a job long..
Highland Canary 76 Posted December 14, 2016 What a pity we didn''t act decisively when a transfer window and Bruce, Lambert or Warnock were available. Perhaps, Birningham will come in for Neil with compensation too.
hogesar 9,672 Posted December 14, 2016 Rowett''s a good manager. In fact, he wouldn''t be a bad fit here, if we needed a new manager.
hogesar 9,672 Posted December 14, 2016 You''re right Highland. Afterall, Bruce has got Villa playing out of their skins and Lambert has turned Wolves into play-off potentials.Oh.

Tetteys Jig 830 Posted December 14, 2016 mental! there''s our alex neil replacement if he doesn''t keep the turn around going. tbh I wouldn''t be disappointed if we got him in now.
morty 0 Posted December 14, 2016 Ipswich fans proper getting themselves in a froth over the prospect he''ll go there.Agent Mccarthy''s work is not quite done there though....
ROBFLECK 132 Posted December 14, 2016 Like many have stated... I would have him here... should our board act...uhm ... .... ,well he''s a good manager and I am baffled by the decision...

Mr Cholmondley Warner 0 Posted December 14, 2016 A club under achieving in their view and therefore taking decisive action Wish we had a Board who understood the concept
Bill 1,788 Posted December 14, 2016
A club under achieving in their view and therefore taking decisive action Wish we had a Board who understood the concept
How right you are.The club is riddled with debt, half the ground is empty on match daythe acadamy is almost non existentand the squad is pretty much worthlessand all this after billions of pounds of ''hinvestment''ps shouldn''t you be out nicking charity boxes or something
Year of the tiger 54 Posted December 14, 2016 Just a question.Gary Rosetta was a name being mentioned as ANs replacement when he was Brum manager. If he was now appointed would be be dismissed by some as the cheap option?
Year of the tiger 54 Posted December 14, 2016 Damn predictive text..again Gary Rowett of course
daly 501 Posted December 14, 2016 A couple of home wins and AN gets a reprieve but after Huddersfield it could all change. Still concerned that he still has no idea of his best starting 11 after almost 2 years in charge. We have one of the strongest squads on paper in this league but underachieve. Playing away from CR has for the last 50 years has always been a problem regardless of the fact that anything between 1000 and 3000 fans turn up to support the team on their travels.Should things go wrong cannot see Delia changing her mind re AN getting the push
Crabbycanary3 994 Posted December 14, 2016 It IS Zola. 2 and a half year contractJeez, what a show of contempt (not Zola)
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted December 14, 2016 So they had decided to replace Rowett, spoke to Zola and arranged for him to take over before sacking RowettAt what point was Rowett told of this? Looking around, it seems the players are furious
