nutty nigel 7,902 Posted October 26, 2016 Welcome to week thirteen of our tenth Rays Funds season. This weekend we have Swindon Canary making the final six selections. Swindon’s having a great season so far with 9/11 (82%) and a profitability of +2.39. Swindon, who’s been a poster on this board since 2003, is also a previous winner of the final six so hopefully he can get us back to winning ways. Let’s find him our very best picks from the games on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the Bet 365 or William Hill web site. Making the Norwich match selections for our game against at Brighton we have a guest appearance from one of my favourite posters Ray. Ray is also a previous winner when he made the selections for the play off semi second leg and correctly suggested a penalty to be awarded. Wes stepped forward…. Thanks for doing this for us again Ray. You have a tenner to spend buddy divided in any way you choose. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Swindon Canary and Ray. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Martin and Ray ... the thread is yours.......[:)]....... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,4, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £1611 for the Community Sports Foundation. Hissing Sid 160 Posted October 26, 2016 To League 2 in Scotland...Forfar (top, 7-0-2 20-15) v Edinburgh City (bottom 0-3-7 9-19) - Home WinFor the match bet, a simple 1-1 this week.Best of luck Swindon, Ray and all you PUPs
Feedthewolf 5,885 Posted October 26, 2016 Staying in the land of Buckfast tonic wine, a simple top-versus-bottom affair in the Championship. Holty''s table-topping Hibernian entertain rock-bottom St Mirren, who have yet to win a match all season. Odds of around 1/3 seem generous. For the match bet, tough call. My usual Norwich to win and both teams to score bet is 5-1, which seems reasonable, but I think Neil will be very keen to ''do a Hughton'' and keep this one tight. Therefore, my recommendation is under 1.5 goals at 21/10.The very best of luck to both of you - we are due a win this week! [:)]
Diesel Doris 130 Posted October 26, 2016 This week I''ll head off to sunny Spain (wish I could):ATHLETIC BILBAO v Osasuna HOME WINGood Luck Swindon and all you lovely PUPsFor the Norwich bet HT/FT Brighton/Draw. Best of luck Ray.
TIL 1010 5,246 Posted October 26, 2016 A very good evening to you Nutty and wishing good fortune to Swindon and Ray not forgetting of course all you other lovely PUPs out there.Off to the land of the wooden shoes and a HOME WIN for AJAX v Excelsior. For the Norwich bet it just has to be both teams to score. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,462 Posted October 26, 2016 Good luck Swindon...I''ll get the ball rolling with :Brondby IF Women vs BSF Women - Home winBSF lost 4-0 to Fortuna last week and Brondby are better than Fortuna and imperious...so.....As for Ray''s match bet I''m convinced that Alex Neil will continue to drive forward his plans to strengthen defensive shape and - despite the Preston reverse - will do everything in his powers to keep a clean sheet. Think the Brighton game actually suits this a little better than the Preston one (who only have one way of playing, which we rather played into)....Brighton are sound defensively, but will not concede possession passively and sit deep at home, they will look to score...so....An almost perfect away performance with Norwich not quite keeping a clean sheet, but looking far tighter and playing well to win 2-1.....Parma 😘👌💁👍👏🎼

The Great Drinkell 51 Posted October 28, 2016 After showing the door to Karl Robinson on Monday, I think the week will get worse for Mr Winkleman and his band of exiles. with a trip to the in form Blade I expect them to be cut down to size,Sheffield Utd v MK Dons Home winFor the Norwich Bet, Umm well I can''t not see both teams scoring so I''ll predict a score draw. Ray 111 Posted October 28, 2016 Nutty et al,Thanks for all your help.I see a lot of goals here and for that reason and in an attempt to maximise returns I am going for; Both teams to score in both halves, currently 20/1 with skybet, stake £3Norwich to win, a group bet of, 3 - 0, 3 - 1, or 3 - 2, currently 12/1 with skybet, stake £3However, in an attempt to hedge these bets, no goal scorer, 17/2 with skybet, stake £4. Interestingly a nil nil prediction is only 8/1, now there may be something I don''t understand but if the result is nil nil there is no goal scorer, so why different odds - go figure? Kathy 823 Posted October 28, 2016 An own goal doesn''t count so if it finishes 1-0 the bookies take it as no goal scorer.

Ray 111 Posted October 28, 2016 Thanks Kathy, now why didn''t I think of that, I assume therefore under goal scorers, Own Goal, isn''t an option. Now it makes sense.

Sky Bet is linked to my Super Six account so this was easy to find and do. I love these buddy. You''ve unearthed some gems that I would never have considered. Each one has great potential if we get that bit of luck we always need. So I''ve placed them with Sky Bet and we have : - Both teams to score in both halves £3.00 Sky Bet 20/1 £63.00 Norwich win, group bet of, 3-0 3-1 3-2, £3.00 Sky Bet 12/1 £39.00 No goal scorer £4.00 Sky Bet 17/2 £38.00 So Norwich winning 3-2 with both teams scoring in each half for £102. Lovely old job[:)]Of course that result would happen after we were 3-0 up....
