Can I just say bravo to Paul Moy. For someone with a brain injury you''ve fone really well to have registered on this site and continue to post opinions on it, even if they are total b0llocks.

Round of applause.
So now the bullying starts as you prove by having nothing constructive to say. Goodbye.

Watching it on sky. Pundits were saying Martin was also at fault and should''ve played him offside instead of running with Pelle. Have to agree.

Don''t agree Southampton have looked good, theyve been poor shown by the fact a team that hasn''t turned up yet kept them at 0-0 for most of the first half.

Massive effort needed to get back into this somehow. No-ones got going and we''re lucky to only be one behind as a better team would''ve finished this game off by now.

Worse than the performance and potential result is we''re kick starting a teams season, a team really struggling to get going yet. So much justified optimism before the game, really letting ourselves down. We''re so much better than this shower.

I really dont rate whittaker but its hard to make a case the 2nd yellow was his fault. The first was bloody stupid and im sure he will rightly face neil''s wrath for that. The second is a dive and the so''ton player should be really embarrassed about his actions. Whittaker stupid for putting himself in situ to allow the dive, but the way he threw himself to the floor and got up demanding a card was pathetic. Ref weak and so''ton taking advantage.

@Ricardo Fair enough, missed the replay first time. As the sky pundits mentioned it was a tight one though, if only Martin had had the smarts to step out.

Martin should have held the line, but he''s often had this habit of dropping deeper and deeper when playing at centre back.

We''ve been off the pace all game and unfortunately poor play at the end of the half. Probably Pelle was offside but Martin was caught on his blindside. Had he stopped before the pass was made then Pelle would be clearly offside. worse though was allowing the ball to be turned over to set up that attack.

Two soft bookings for Whittaker and it looks like damage limitation now as I can''t see us scoring if we play all day. A shame but there is still time to 6pm Tuesday to improve the squad.
So it was offside.

When do these dodgy decisions start evening out?
I don''t know. Ever since the Palace game people on here have been saying they will even out but we''ve seen no evidence of this yet.

Goal was martins fault for me. Really poor. Didnt play offside and didnt stay goalside. He has to do one or the other in that position. Has to strengthen boards resolve to get a CB deal over the line by Tues.
It''s not a dive though- he''s got his arm round him!
Its a dive. He threw himself down looking at the ref. Not a natural fall or even close to it.

It''s easy to say it was offside after numerous replays & slow motion analysis. But at the end of the day it was offside - look in the paper tomorrow. At least the guy put the ball in the net which is more than CJ did.Is it dodgy decisions costing us or missed chances?

If we''re laying blame, then the goal was Howson''s fault.

Giving the ball away needlessly completely wrong-footed the Norwich defenders......

After recent games incredibly poor performance. Well of the pace from the kick off. Lack of fight all over the pitch. Howson has barely touched the ball and Redmond looking uninterested. Very dissapointing and will have to see a big turnaround to get anything out of this. Southampton nothing special apart from Mane.

It is a yellow card offence and we can''t complain. As for the goal, if it happened at the other end, we''d all be saying it is level and the benefit of the doubt goes to the striker. We''re looking for excuses here. We just haven''t been good enough.

Agree with most, we just haven''t turned up. Southampton have done their homework, press press press. We just haven''t had time on the ball. Defense rubbish. Stupid yellow cards for Whittaker and what the hell was Martin doing for the goal. Passing has been terrible.

Goal was offside. It looked it and it was. There''s no excuse for the lino not being in line. I hope the supporters a the game are making these points and not throwing their arms in the air blaming our players and wailing it didn''t look offside.

That from wisdom was more a yellow than Whits but perhaps the ref has now wised up to the Southampton player.

I know its a tough ask but Jerome has done nothing today. Unfortunately we could do with Grabban to come off the bench as hold up play is something he is pretty good at.
