1. Although it was Ron Saunders whobrought us first ever top flight football, it was John Bond who created the ethos that we still have today of being a team with flair who likes to play the passing game.Bondy laid the foundations of all the success that was to follow. Wish him a speedy recovery and return to good health.
 2.
Just a final note from me on here; it saddens me when people use the money as a stick to beat us with; I can understand why, but the vast, vast majority of our fans are the same people who were there 10, 20 years ago and are just enjoying the ride. I understand a few will let it go to their heads, but most of us still have the same sense of humour we always had, just using it in a different way (see the ''we never win at home and we never win away'' song we sang for a long time yesterday). As I say, good luck for next season; hopefully I''ll be back at Carrow Road depending on the kick off time!
Actually nrh, we were the fortunate ones to be present at a match whenone of the finest teams in Europe with some of the world''s best footballers ht their best form ever. (Yes I''m talking about Man C) The fields of Norfolk witnessed a majestic spectacle and we ought to be proud to say we were there. And Norwich fans can at least consolethemselves that for 70 minutes we were still in with a shout and giving you guys a hard time. It''s been a fantastic season for both set of teams and we look forward to two more thrilling games next season.   Good luck to all Man City fans
 3. True GP. After that performance I don''t think we will fear anyone. It''s good in a way that we''re finishing the season against some top sides coz we can play like today and take on anyone. I think the games to come will be real crackers. We''ll have a real go at Arsenal
 4. The Spurs game shows we going to finish this season on a high. Even though we are now well safe, there''s still three things we should aim for. 1. Turn our goal difference from a negative 6 to a positive number. All the top teams have a positive goal difference, let''s aim for it as well. 2. Be the highest in the table out of the three promoted clubs. QPR have had plenty of cash to spend and Swansea always get good credit for their style of play. Finish above them by end of season and we can claim that our fantastic team spirit under the league''s best manager is an unstoppable combination. 3. Finish above Liverpool. A few seasons ago, the Premiership was all about the top four. And Liverpool were competing in, and winning, the Champions League. To top Liverpool over the course of a full season will send a message to the squad that we can continue our upward momentum into next year when anything is possible if the way we''re playing at the moment is anything to go by. It''s all doable.
 5. Just when you might have expected us to coast to the end of the season, we produce the performance of the season... Outstanding everywhere across the park today, we made Spurs look like a Championship side. Our best ever performance/result under Sir Paul? What are those guys on?? Don''t want the season to end tbh.
 6. How many premier league points do you get for appearing on MOTD? Answer:None Stop this moaning, it''s sounds like an inferiority complex.
 7.
"Simply need to stop do some firework''s who come to mistakes and will be awasome player" has this been ran through Babelfish ?
Boris is a fan from Bulgaria. I think you need to give him some latitude, Mr. High and Mighty.
 8.
Yeah, they only have 4 keepers in their squad at the moment, I am sure a fifth is vital!
Who is to say that some of those keepers won''t move on?
 9.

Could you do me the honour of telling me wether or not you comment on players or matches on here? I''ve never seen a prediction, a comment on wether Surman is lightweight or not, a moan after losing to Leicester.
You''e a real, conveniently one-eyed son of Norfolk then. Family trait is it? OTBC
Didn''t do Horatio Nelson any harm, did it?
 10.

I agree with you Cluck. It happened how long ago? And now shes someone without a decent job in this economy she looks awfully desperate for some type of fame here. Society and the youth today make me sick if this had happened in my family we would of moved on by now and forgetting the hurt that this suicide had caused not throwing it into the limelight and getting the odd dollar here and there for it.
Thanks BW. Up till now I had kept an open mind on you, thinking possibly you were just a little naive and enjoyed attention a bit too much, but now you''ve cleared that up. You are obviously a self-centred tw*t with both a complete lack of empathy for any other human being and an astounding ability to miss the point.
Football is a man''s game and no place for homosexuals in it. Who would want to play in the same team as someone who gets off on looking at your dick in the shower? Homosexuality is a psychological abnormality and should be treated as such.
 11.
Apparently it is. And i''m sure i''ll get ''attention seeking'' comments about this post, but I seem to get far to much ''abuse''. Have no idea why I still post on here. CDMullins (and Banana, which is just ridiculous) start suggesting I always post rubbish, well if that really is the general consensus, I just won''t bother any more. Whats the point me putting in the time to read and post on here if people think its all rubbish? Baldyboy said I don''t let him have an opinion, well I feel many posters on here don''t let me have an opinion. Maybe my posts come across as arrogant and insulting, they must do to get so much negative reaction. How I intend to set out my posts (baring some silly ones such as the OP on this thread) is just my opinion, if it differs to yours, doesn''t mean that your wrong, doesn''t mean that i''m wrong. Their opinions, and unless they can be backed up by facts everyone''s is as valid as anyone else''s. So, anyway enough of that, i''m sure it will get some abuse (because of my obvious attention seeking and un-funny tendencies) i''ll just have to cry myself to sleep.... Can''t even watch Messi scoring a penalty to make me feel better......
GP, you''re a fine young poster. Keep yew a''troshin.
 12.

Very slowly ........ Whilst .... I .... said .... it .... looked .... like .... a .... deliberate .... thrown .... game I .... did .... not .... claim .... it .... was ... or .... accuse .... or .... suggest .... it .... was
Equally slowly, but cannot be bothered to separate the text: Why title your thread the way you did? Why bring up the Liverpool game the way you did?
I think City 1st''s attempt at humour fell flat on its face. He should stick to what he is good at: biliousness
 13. That Wes has the highest % assists and highest passes completed probably shows that most of the traffic is being directed via him. Therefore, block him and you block most of the attacking threat. O''Neil realised this and last night Sunderland closed off the threat. When we brought on two wingers we had more width and looked better with more crosses coming in. The problem is not Wes but the system. Sometimes you have to drop the most creative player if the system demands it. Lambert called it wrong last night, but he''ll learn from his mistake and move on to the next game. All is not lost.
 14. Poor deluded fools. Now the real season has started and all those teams that we thought we could brush aside are starting to raise their game and start picking up points. Sunderland, Bolton, Blackburn, QPR they''re all gaining on City. The big slide has started and down the league we slip. It wasn''t that we were bad, it is the opposition were much better than City. It looks like a Blackpool is on the cards and NCFC''ll be lucky to survive after this defeat. I predict no more wins this season. Mark my words, City has been lucky up to now and now have been found out.
 15.
Thieving piece of sh"t He left all of his previous clubs in bankruptcy. Bournemouth were paying off his dodgy contracts years after his departure. Yes it can be said that he didn''t act alone but it doesn''t negate his part of acting as a front man for all that is wrong in the game. His crookef habits were laid bare in Tom Bowers excellent book Broken Dreams which explored the murky world of corruption in football. Whilst many of the more well known ''personalities'' had a few paragraphs devoted to them, ''readies'' Redknapp had a whole chapter on his activities. The book was voted Sports Book of the Year 2003 Of course the usual story is of East End boy made good. What harm is there if ''arry makes his boss a few million by ''eye for a deal'' and makes a few bob for humself in the bargain ? The reality is of him spending huge sums on inflated transfer fees where a fair percentage then found it''s way into his pocket either indirectly or through a myriad of agents, consultants and other parasites. His ''making a profit'' from transfers usually over look the fact that the fee quoted is very, very rarely the figure recieved by the selling club. A decent whack disappears between seller and purchaser. Whether avoiding tax is a big problem for football fans, cheating their clubs and sending them into bankruptcy should be. The odious face of all that is wrong in football. If he is banned from football for life then football might smell marginally sweeter - and might signal that something may be starting to be done to clean it up. My understanding is that this is a ''specimen charge'' and with luck, a good deal more (not charges though) may come out.
avoiding tax is perfectly legitimate, evading tax is illegal - learn the difference before you post.
 16. Croft was given the POTS as an inducement to stay in a rigged competition. It backfired, however, when he left anyway.
 17.
We miss them dearly, especially Elliott. How they doing with you and the Premiership?
Why not come up to Carrow Road for a game? We''re a friendly bunch and you''d be made welcome. We can be your second fave team,if u like.
 18. Banter is all part and parcel of a message board and makes it an interesting place to visit. But earlier this year there was some real nastiness that became very personal and stuff was mentioned about poster''s wives, for example, that had no place on a football forum. A lot of people left after that episode. Also a message board needs controversy, characters and differing opinions to make it interesting. I think Archant have made this a much duller place by banning certain topics of discussion and driving away some of the more colourful personalities, yet at the same time allow a few favourites to continue to post their continuous jibes a certain other posters. I think the older guys are the worst culprits.
 19.
Everybody: 8 Except Grant Holt: 28
Agree 100% Holt was immense today. Most people mention his strength, his workrate and the talisman effect on his team mates. But he is also a very intelligent footballer. He makes great runs, takes up excellent positions, moves the ball really well, and reads what''s going on around him faster than other players. Today he left out a lot of the clinging-on and wrestling matches that he indulged in earlier in the season, and instead played to his footballing strengths As a result he gave us so many more options moving forward and creates more space for Morison to be simply a target man. His harrying of the defence means also that they don''t always clear their lines so well and often the ball goes to our midfield allowing us to press forward. Grant Holt''s presence lifted all our players around him and we turned in a performance a million miles away from last week''s no-show at Manchester City. Newcastle have had a fantastic start to the season but were second best to a great Norwich side.
 20.
Norwich only had themselves to blame. Rarely has a team arrived at the Etihad Stadium with such a lack of ambition. Sums it up!
As I said -embarrassing
 21.
by playing 4-5-1 or variants of this we rely on the midfield players getting forward when in attack to support the lone striker. unfortunately this is not happening as they all appear to have a totally defensive mindset so that morrison is totally isolated in attack.
Well it''s good to see some on here understanding my OP. Against Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool we played 4-5-1 where the midfield were quick to get forward with fast counter-attacking that caused the big boys all sorts of problems. In the past few weeks we''ve become jittery in midfield, it''s not a one-off against a super-team, it''s a trend that''s developing and needs sorting out quickly before a negative mindset sets in. Seeing antics like Ruddy on Saturday, isn''t going to help the players.  Rudolph H. gets it too, says it better than I can
 22.

The EDP and Evening News were also unavailable but it has now been Fixed.Somebody at Archant is an Asset to  the company.[;)]
You''d think they would post some kind of apology when it was fixed, wouldn''t you ?
Careful CA or you''ll be next one banned.
