1. Love this ide, can''t see it happening though. Need to get it trending on twitter or something.. See if the right person can see it lol
2. Regarding the build up play; it''s something that annoys me amongst fans. The whole idea of passing around the back is to ensure we keep the ball and don''t lose it by just hoofing it forward. It''s actually part of The FA''s new strategy for English football with retaining possession, passing, etc etc. The fact that Norwich have actually got it before most of the country is brilliant. You can see in the build up play that the movement and passing is fluid, quick, successive. The role of the defender has changed from what it was 20 years ago where they would just go through the player and punt it clear. Now they have to be proper footballers who can have the ball at their feet, can play with it, dribble it out etc. Same goes with the keeper. This fact shows just how adept our back 5 are in that they are very good on the ball and can just pass it about. As for the players names etc. Don''t worry my brother has done the same. When Scunthorpe had a man sent off my dad asked if it was Nelson because he had him to score in a bet, to which my brother simply replied "i didn''t think we had him anymore?" Unfortunately people pay there money and you can''t stop them. You just have to put up with it. Or move seats.
3. He was not cut out to be a manager but he was and still is a club legend and should be remembered as such. He was a quality keeper (all backpasses aside!). As for the memorites of two years ago.. one thing you should remember is that he convinced one Grant Holt to come to Norwich instead of going to Paul Lambert''s Colchester or it could have been a totally different story..... He''s moving because he''s got a new job. He''s not moving cos he want''s to forget the area or club and i don''t think we should be trying to get rid of him.
4. I would be confident with Rudd in goal. Yes he''s inexperienced etc but seeing him play when he has in the league i''ve been very impressed and would have no problem in him playing next season if Ruddy can''t. As for Steer, yes he should be sent out on loan in my opinion but as Lambert said last year it''s all about finding a club that is prepared to take a risk on a 18/19 year old GK.
5. 1. Forest 2. Cardiff 3. Swansea 4. Boro 5. Norwich 6. Burnley 22. Preston 23. Watford 24. Scunthorpe I didn''t do too well! Lol I was fairly confident we''d make the playoffs though!
6. I put money on us to win the league at the start of the season at 18/1... Really hoping a points deduction comes and we nick it! Could use the cash! lol
7. NO! The FA is spineless, inconsistent and doesn''t seem to make decisions based on sense but makes them on money. Therefore the chances are they will get a fine which will barely effect them!
8. I''m a fan of him and would be delighted to see him here in the summer! Think he would provide the competition needed as a pacy striker, has experience, albeit short, of EPL football and i think he would be interested in coming. You can''t tell much from one transfer but Lambert might have made a good relationship with Moyes at Everton after the Ruddy deal and this may help with the fee as well...
9. So much more quality at Cardiff and i can see a 3-1 for them. Being the pessimist i am i can see a loss for us at Portsmouth and it will put it down to leeds to save us and give us a chance. I''d take a draw and it going down to the last game.
10. Personally i''ve got the feeling of the derby PLUS the feeling of "If we lose it''s over for 2nd". I''m dreading it to be honest. I''m never confident before a derby match regardless but after the success we''ve had this season, the 4-1 last time and the need to win i''m certain we''re going to lose (though obviously i hope not). If we lose - god forbid! - and Cardiff win their game on the Saturday, i think 2nd place will be theirs and we will have to settle for the playoffs. Though the last time anyone did the East Anglian Double (i think) was the year that we last won promotion to the Premier League. In which case if we win, could it be de ja vue again? Yes it''s Ipswich and yes its a derby game but there is so much more riding on it which makes it all the more important for Norwich fans even if you don''t feel the "derby" excitement. At this time on Thursday night we will 90 minutes away from complete ecstasy or depression. Lets hope it''s the latter! OTBC!
11. Personally i thought the ref was poor. He missed too many challenges, should have had his cards out for a couple of them and when he did play one or two of the advantages he should have gone back after the advantage and booked - or at least spoken to - the player who committed the challenge. But we won thats all that matters, i''m not too bothered.
12. "Bottom line however is should we fail to go up Lambert will go to a lower end premier club or a Championship rival with real mobey. Another fact and that really is my final word. " I''m sorry but why on earth would he leave if we fail to get promoted this year! Going to a low end EPL side and struggling or going to someone who will be in a similar position to us has no advantages apart from the money! I think he''d stay and finish what he''s started. Unless you can put any substance to these so called facts then don''t post them. I like rumours as much as the next guy but if your hands were really THAT tied then you wouldn''t have posted anything in the first place!!

14. Who said Holty is injured? It isn''t confirmed yet, could just be severe cramp.
15. Warnock is a good manager and this persona he has is just when he gets caught up in the passion on the touchline. Just like the act that Mourinho puts on for the press. He revealed a few months back he had an interview for the norwich job a few years ago and he was full of praise then. He is very respectful of us and i think that he really likes the club.
16. To be honest i''d much rather us get no recognition during the season and just get promotion! Stay under the radar and keep the attention on everybody else. Best way to do it!
17. If it''s Nike i will be first in line for one! I only buy nike football boots, trainers and sportswear. Would love it to be made by them. But i dont think it will be
18. No one is unsackable but obviously his job is pretty secure! As for where we should be challenging next year; lets just get promoted first! IF we get there, then we can start thinking about it and to be honest, i''d take survival first season!
19. The FA just want another London team in the premier league so even they do deduct points they want to make sure they still go up, hence the date.
20. Tough game, obviously. Hard fought, tight 1-1 draw.. Or a 94th minute winner!
21. Totally agree. I''ve always claimed that once he got a goal it would help his confidence.. a hat trick on the other hand will have him feeling like Messi at the moment (yes, slight exaggeration!). I think he''ll thrive from this and go on and get a few more if given the chance. I rated him through his goaless spell and will continue to do so. He''s only 23.. Holt didn''t start to really shine until his mid-late twenties!
22. There are so good ones in there! Let''s hope we can start to push them through or get them out on loan to get some games!
23.
There should be no excuse whatsoever this Saturday that we give an outstanding performance against Scunny. In the past, we''ve had poorer displays against the lesser teams with the excuse that we''ve just come off of a tough match a few days before. Not this time....a bit of rest and the fact that our boys should be chomping at the bit to get out there and play should ensure we rise to the occasion.
Yes, but Scunthorpe are side who are fighting for their lives just like Preston! They have had the break and will be ready and eager to go as well. There is no such thing as an easy game, and this will be a tough one. I still think we should get a few goals though; 4-1 City!
24.
My money on Adel Taarabt for the Championship player of the year award. In fact I will put everything I own on it.
Thats what i thought! How out of date is that report!!
25.
The kids goalkeeping coach was Darren Lovell who left this year to go to Suffolk FA. Did we not take on a new goalkeeping coach recently ? Some of it is down to chance, I beleive Declan Rudds academy trial was as a centre half, deemed not good enough came back a year later as a goalkeeper and made it.
Nearly correct - he was a striker
