1. I would have thought that in the real world the idea that an employer can stop an employee talking to to a putative new employer is ludicrous, so this is all piss and wind. I suppose they might have a case against Lambert, Culverhouse and Karsa (?) for not giving the requisite amount of notice.
2. Only a couple of "new" things - well I didn''t know them before. The decision was taken at a board meeting on the Thursday before McNally went to Exeter too sack him on the Friday. And he is, in conjunction with the LMA still haggling over the financial terms of his departure. That''s interesting because as far as we know Mr Worthington got exactly what he wanted straightaway. Suggests there was perhaps more to it than the bald facts of a 1-7 defeat and a 4-0 victory.
3.
When were Malky and Doc ever at the same club? Flaw number 2 perhaps
At Norwich City for one month in 2004.
4. "Robins is a good young chap but he''s never managed outside League Two" Ah the never failing pig-ignorance of the average Oink ''Un poster!
5.
Yeah lets drive a decent player away over some mouthy drunk prats shouting outside the ground after the match Well done
An eye-witness speaks: "I was further up the road not protesting. Wes drove past laughing with finger up before even reaching the fans. I was in a state of shock couldn''t believe it had happened. I was so livid when he stopped in front of me laughing I opening my wallet to ask did he want to take anything else from me... Not ashamed to say it and I''m sure if any of you witnessed what happened it would have stirred a reaction because it was that shocking. " Doesn''t sound like a mouthy drunken prat.
6. Of their 10 on target efforts: 7 were scored 1 was disallowed 1 was pushed out for Platt to score the 2nd 1 was saved I suppose Of our 5 on target efforts 1 was scored 1 was the TJ header 1 was the Adeyemi chance I think Others I cant remember
7. On the opening day of the 2002/3 season Millwall lost 6-0 at home to Rotherham. They didn''t win a game until 31st August. Both teams finished mid-table, Millwall seven points ahead of Rotherham. Millwall won the return fixture 3-1!
8. Bruce Rioch instituted the policy of having two players for every position. Which means that we buy loads of rubbish instead of footballers.
9. Pacy left winger? Over Mr & Mrs Wynn-Jones''s cold dead bodies I should imagine.
10. Signed a new contract with Cambridge City and played in their last friendly. From what Roberts said I don''t think they really expected anything to come of it.
11. Actually you don''t see do you? http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1737845/ShowPost.aspx Here''s a bit of free advice for you, betting from a position of extreme ignorance is not a good idea.
12. To be fair I think it''s upped the standard of debate on here a couple of notches. Remind me again, how DID we go on in the 1974 League Cup Final?
13. "Vote Which position should Norwich City concentrate on next?" Why isn''t "majority shareholder" an option?
14. Ah the 1974 League Cup Final. Wolves v Manchester City. I LOVE the unfettered ignorance of the unmoderated Oink ''Un.
15. Hi Ste, I remember you too. Set up Canary Mail as I recall. Nick Mead.
16. Many many words, but can be dismissed quite easily: "why did the Board base its planning at the start of the Premiership year that we would finish in 17th position in the league?" They didn''t.
17. It''s actually quite hilarious that people can believe so strongly in something that didn''t happen. Even Mrs Wynn-Jones herself, at an AGM in fact, pointed out that it was Martin Armstrong.
18. Very odd - all those facts yet he didn''t know that it was Martin Armstrong that saved the club.
19. I''ll always remember Craig Bellamy saying what a step backwards it was to go from Norwich under Hamilton (!) to Coventry under Strachan. No thanks.
20. Because the transfer window did not apply to first division clubs then.
21.
Absolutely certain. I have been in this business for over half a century and I have never had a writ issued against me by anyone. I repeat: it was not Cullum''s idea to approach Norwich City. It was the idea of the Rt Hon Member for Norwich (South).
No kidding! And is there any substance in the rumours that the Pope is a catholic?
22. Be careful do. Your likely to draw the fire of the Delia Fan Club posting stuff like that.
