Demonstration - Protest - Get Rid of Delia and Michael Now!!!

Recommended Posts

Can we start meeting outside the Geoffrey Watling City Stand to protest and demonstrate to get rid of Delia and Michael - I am sure there are a few other numpties on the board who have been on the board with them for too long. They only way to force them out of this club is to start having demonstrations - protests before home games. If we want change at this club - we must fight for change and let our voices be heard loudly and clearly. I am not happy to just continue to allow those clowns to send this club down like they have done for years.

I have no interest in protesting against the fans who own our club, now we''re in the best financial condition for SEVERAL years. We have to earn the right to achieve Premiership status and neither MW Jones or Delia have been on the pitch this season, as far as I am aware they are not registered to play.

The next month is vital for Adams as our CEO will change the management if we fall out of play off position by Xmas.

Lambert was something special he achieved despite the Stowmarket 2 and not because of them.

I agree with the OP get them out and get them out now.

Got a day off school have we (Craig Brown)? Want to raise a gang to fight the bully boy teachers? You are pathetic! Can you even name all of the Board? No? I thought not.

"...and many are happy with being mid table in the championship as we are in the best financial state ever!"

Yup - I''d be happy with that. Sustainable, one would think, and our club would be around forever without going bankrupt or selling out to a disinterested ''hinvestor'' looking to turn a large fortune into a small one. There would be the highs of winning, the lows of losing all combined with the excitement of ''can we do it this year''.

Having said that...

I''d be happier with pushing for promotion to the top flight.

I''d be happier still with gaining promotion to the top flight as Champions of the second tier.

I''d be downright ecstatic if we could establish ourselves as a humdrum, mid-table Premier League side

I''d come over all unusual if we were to break into the top 6/8 teams in the country.

I''d be sad if we got relegated :(

For the protest, will you be needing one placard or two? I''ve got a mate who works in advertising - he might be able to come up with a slogan for you. Something catchy, maybe, like

"I dunt like it. Neyul ent that good and Delia ent that good or rich and Norridge ent won the league yet buh"

Well lets not jump to any conclusions, he only said that he agreed with the OP not that he was prepared to protest.

If Waveney was to turn up to demonstrate with all of his alter-egos that would probably require an increased police presence at the ground. [;)]

I like Adams. I really want him to succeed. But what is happening is my worst fear, when a club icon takes the job. Surely the board should''ve learnt from Gunn. Ok Adams cv was better but it''s dangerous ground.

I don''t think a demo will happen not is it the right thing to do. What shocks me is that this club is drifting downwards and everyone seems to be ok with it. "Oh well we are rich", "look how far we''ve come since league one".

Not being arrogant about our club, but with the money we''ve spent and the squad we have, we should not be in this position and quite frankly it''s unacceptable.

We need to look no further at what having a capable manager brings, than Ipswich.

Some of these people on this post are clueless. They are

happy for us to keep the current board of directors and see this club drop into

midtable. The directors and the manager must go now. The directors on this

board will waste years and this club will take ages to get out of the

championship. Delia and Michael & Foulger will never learn. They continue

to make the same mistakes. We all know Hamiton, Roeder, Grant, Gunn, Hughton

have all been failures and all appointments by Delia & Michael &

Foulger. Adams is the wrong man – it is so obvious.

Just look at the team he picks. He put Howson and Tettey

on the wings. They are central midfielders not wingers. He let go of Pilkington

who is an out and out winger and made a crap excuse to justify selling him to a

rival club. We all saw the goals Pilks scored against Man Utd, Spurs, and Man

City – so clearly we lost an asset. No excuse will justify Adams decision to

let him go.

Adams shouldn’t have let Elliott Bennett go to Brighton

and now he is going to allow Brighton to keep him for longer. E Bennett should

be playing for Norwich not Brighton. We are playing too narrow and we are trying

to create chances by hoofing the ball down the middle to Jerome and Grabban –

defenders will be able to clear long balls all day long – no problem.

Adams is doing what Hughton did last year. He is waiting

ages to bring on subs. He waited until Norwich were 3-2 down to bring on

Hooper. Surely he could have started with Hooper. Rather than wasting his time

with Grabban – who cannot hit a barn door in front of goal. He keeps playing

Redmond out of position in the middle. Since Hoolahan has been out – Adams has

had no plan B – about how to set the midfield up. He tried to play Lafferty on

the left wing – and the guy is a striker.

Stupid man – if he hadn’t have got rid of our best

wingers – he wouldn’t have that problem of playing a striker as a winger and

then there is the problem of him playing Russell Martin as a centre back –

rather than a right back. The man cannot man manage people – which is why we

have lost Bassong and he is at Watford.

I am led to believe that Bassong was told last season –

that he was on the subs bench and was told he was not on the team sheet and so

he refused to get changed into his kit. Clearly that is wrong for a player not

to do what the manager asks of him. But even still – Adams should be capable

dealing with a player like Bassong. The man has falsely accused Bassong of not

being committed. His excuse with me doesn’t wash. Bassong is a decent player

and should be doing a job for us in defence. He may not be a decent premier

league defender – but he is quality in the championship.

All those factors point to one thing – Neil Adams is not

the man for the job. By his decisions he will be condemned. This board clearly

have appointed the wrong man and with him in charge – the club will fail to get

promoted. We end up in midtable and some people who have commented on this post

– would be happy with midtable. I am not happy with this club to waste years in

the championship like our scum local neighbours Ipswich. Until the board of

directors leave this club – the club will continue in decline. We need a

foreign investor – like Roman from Chelsea. Who will make changes quickly. No change

– being passive – equals failure. Being proactive and finding a solution –

recruiting – equals success. Clearly though the clowns on the board of

directors have no idea how to change things when required.

Anyway enough said. Protests must happen – we must fight

for change – before it is too late. We must save our club from dying. I want

Norwich City to be respected. But the board are ruining our club and everybody

up and down the country is laughing at poor old Norwich.

I think That''s a much better post than your original one, and I must agree that some of your points are ones that I share as far as footballing decisions are concerned. I will however say I don''t see that the situation is as bad as you think. We''re only 5 points off 2nd place, I hope that Phelan can address some of the team selection issues, and I think with time the situation will improve.

I still expect us to get promotion this year and I think that the people who you think are happy to see us drop into mid table, simply don''t think that will happen as they too think we will get promotion.

If it was only that easy.Yes they do need to go because they don''t have enough money to take us to the next level. Unless they win the Euro-millions+some we will just bumble around in this division.

Yep, good football related points made-agree on Pilks, Seb and E Benno.

Paddy Davitt reckons NA wants Bennett him back here and playing in January-maybe because Redmond will have gone by then, maybe this is getting E Benno match fit so he can slot straight back in after Redmond leaves.

But we can''t just "get rid" of the Wynn Jones''. You know that. Its their club, like it or not, they will go when they want to go and when someone takes it off their hands for a price they agree upon. So protests will not achieve anything, infact, it will stiffen both the current board and the owners resolve and to see it through despite a minority (and it will be) rattling some dustbin lids.

And "everybody up and down the country" is not "laughing at poor old Norwich"-they have other things to worry about, not least their own clubs. Are any of us laughing at Blackpool for example?

In my humble opinion I cannot fault the Board in what it''s done and achieved off the pitch, financial success etc. Although the hotel project is probably regretted.

The one fault I would lay at their door is their judgement on appointing managers.

Yes there have been successes but some of the appointments have been a disaster and although you cannot get it right all the time in this area they have got it wrong more times than they should have.

Being brave and appointing a "strong opinionated" manager like Neil Lennon (in this case he wasn''t even interviewed) is a concern as they like to go down the "nice guy" route.
