I noticed this too on 606, a lot reckon he will be the best player in the Championship. Like Liverpool, have a lot of time for them especially under Dalglish. The Pacheco move can only strengthen the club''s relationships.

Apart from the ones that said shame he went to us because we are the club they least want to go up.

Annoying that he''s gone to Norwich though, as of all the teas in that top 6, they''re the only club I wouldnt like to be promoted.

I miss QPR, Leeds, Forest and would like to have a Welsh side in the premier league, But Norwich? Meh.

''''You don''t get Pacheco, one of the best prospects (top 10 for sure) in world football to sit on your bench if you are fighting for automatic promotion to the EPL.''''

One of the top 10 prospects in world football? Hope he delivers while here!

Such fickle fans. That was such a painful read."What formation do they play?""I heard they play good football.""My housemate''s a City fan so I know they are top of League 1".

Some Liverpool fans have a crazy hard on for Pacheo. He was a favoured stick to beat Hodgson with for not playing him, despite looking pretty average when he did play. Now he is apparently a great talent and I''m excited to see him in a city shirt but I think its nothing but typical Liverpool jingoism in calling him ''one of the top ten prospects in the world.''

I''m intrested to see how he does against men.  Hes only played a handful of times for Liverpool and u21 fro Spain.  Hes looked promising for the u21''s but the recurring thought i have is why haven''t Liverpool loaned him to anyone else before?

He COULD be fantastic, on the flipside he could be a lightweight.  I''ll judge after i''ve seen him.  Ressie football and youth team football is one thing, a promotion scrap on some dodgy pitches against 6" tough tackling championship defenders is another.

I just dont wanna get my hopes us too high...

I think that some people are going to have too much expectations of him. Yes he is a good player and comes very highly rated, but he is still very very young and not much expericance of 1st team football.

Scouse fans are to$$ers, they think that they know everything about everything and are the best fans in the world.

Some complimentary stuff, but....

Do some of their fans think the world of football revolves around them? Wake up

Liverpool, you are a has been team of the Premiership, no longer a top four

team, not even top six.

They would also do well to remember what team they played

and lost to (well done Mr Goss) in front of the last ever standing KOP.

I grew up near Liverpool and worked in the city centre for years. Yes, they do think the world of football revolves around them, but then, they think the world in general revolves around them, really. I looked at their message board and was interested to see so many of them posting with such authority about things they know nothing about involving other teams. East Anglia is a closed book to most people living in the North West, the posters almost certainly won''t have ever been here and I suspect most of them would be hard-pressed to even locate us on a map of the British Isles.

Yep Liverpool have been a "has been" football club for quite some time now, yet the arrogance of their fans is incredible. They had the odd great success under Rafa but other than that they have done nothing worthy in the last 20 odd years to be called a European football powerhouse which they clearly still believe they are. Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and now seemingly Tottenham and Man City are streaks ahead of them.  The people of the City itself are some of the most self righteous and self obsessed people you could ever meet, it''s one thing to love your home town but they take it to a whole new level with this "were not English were scouse" bullcrap which I have seen a lot of recently. Shame we can''t ship them out to the middle of the Atlantic so they can start up their own country.

I wonder if the scouse scallies hope we reach the play-off final, so that when we''re all down in ''the smoke'' they can come over and rob our houses?

.......and drain our rural heating oil tanks......and stuff.

In the circumstances, you might be forgiven for thinking that some of the Norwich supporters posting on here have scouse roots.

Just to balance out all the prejudice and cliches...My Mum''s family are Scousers, a combination of Reds and Blues and having visited Liverpool many times I can say that they are by far the friendliest people you could hope to meet.

Whilst its pleasing to see so many positive comments about the boy it does amuse me that so many of them seem to think that this kid who can''t get in their team will be "by far the best player in the championship" and guarantee us automatic promotion. Proper arrogance on their part!

Must be a northwestern thing?  I remember when we beat them comfortably at Carrow Road, they were singing songs such as ''We hate England'' and Argentina.. Argentina (that was possible directed at one of there players though)?
