ncfcstar 292 Posted October 5, 2009 Has to be:1. Holt2. Smith3. Hoolahan4. Drury5. HughesDon''t really get the whole thing around Askou, he''s a bit of a liability in my opinion, and his distribution is shocking.
Gingerpele 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Holt, Smith, Drury, Hoolahan, Martin
ZLF 274 Posted October 5, 2009 Askou? lol - he is not even the best defender. Committed yes.SmithHoltHughesDruryHoolahan

DOGGER 0 Posted October 5, 2009 I can see why a lot of people are putting Hughes in, but i think prehaps he isn''t playing enough to warrant a top 5?
Lambo 0 Posted October 5, 2009 When he''s played he''s been quality, only really had one off game against Wallsall. I think a 4-3-3 with him, Smith and Rusty with Hoolahan, Martin and Holt upfront would do all kinds of jobs in this division.
Road to Nowhere 0 Posted October 5, 2009 HoltWesRussellSmithSpillane (he is the player that has surprised me most though, looks like a top prospect all of a sudden)
Joanna Grey 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Why is it when asked to post your top three/five/ten or whatever that some people (not just on this Forum) stick an extra couple in there? Anyway;1, Holt2, Smith3, Hoolahan4, Lappin (early doors)5, Spillane (for being an extremely capable utility player)

Captain Holt 522 Posted October 5, 2009 Korey Smith gets lost in the game too often in my opinion.
NCFC_Shaun 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Russell!? He''s only just started playing!1. Holt2. Askou3. Hoolahan4. Lappin5. Smith
SwindonCanary 455 Posted October 5, 2009 Rusty has just started but look a Saturdays match, he played the deep midfield roll just in front of the back four and did it perfectly allowing Hooly to do his thing.1. Holt2. Hoolahan3. Russell4. Spillane5. Martin

John 0 Posted October 5, 2009 1st - Holt2nd - Hoolahan3rd - Askou4th - Hughes5th - SmithSpecial mentions go to Russell, Spillane, Drury, Martin, and Rudd. And Cureton ''may'' just be starting to look the part again. On the other hand however, despite being big fans of the two players, i believe Lappin and McVeigh may need a kick up the backside in order to get them back on track, as i do believe they having been coming up short of late. Their early form (under Lambert) certainly hasn''t been replicated in the past couple of weeks. As the season goes on i do believe players like Wiggins, Tudur-Jones, Whaley and Adeyemi have the potential to come to prominence (despite some early below par performances given by some of them). Smudger 0 Posted October 6, 2009
HoltSmithHughesAskouRudd
Would go with this... [Y] apart from Russell in for either Rudd or Hughes at the moment. It is no coincidence that we are unbeaten since Russell came in to the team in my opinion.
