AndyJR 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Given the choice, who would you rather see come up? Who would we do better against? Frankly (although I have nothing against Doncaster Rovers) I would like to see Leeds promoted, just to give us the opportunity to give them a good stuffing. Then again perhaps the question we should be asking, is who is most likely out of them to finish above us?

Barclay_Boy 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Doncaster Rovers every time for me, as far as I am concerned Leeds are the lowest form of pond life. The best example of arrogant, ignorant supporters you can find.
4-4-2 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Donny with out a doubt. One of my best mates is a leeds fan and he''s been banging on about leeds and there 15 point deduction all season, it would be funny to see little old donny beat em and be in a higher league than their local rivals for the first time in the clubs history. diabolicalmastermind 1 Posted May 23, 2008 Definately Doncaster Rovers. Why Leeds fans cant get it in their head they were in League one cos they were crap i dont know. A lot of my colleagues are Leeds fans and they have this delusional idea they are world beaters who have ended up there due to everyone elses fault but there own. Oh n Donny have a better ground n all, Elland Road is a dump
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted May 23, 2008
If it can''t be neither, then definitely Donny Rovers. Can anyone see them doing it though ?
Yes. I''ve got a feeling they''re going to beat Leeds. They''re a very good side but the pressure is off to an extent as everyone expects Leeds to win.
we8wba 0 Posted May 23, 2008 i hoped leeds wouldnt come up this seasonbut in septemeber when they just about got back to 0pts i put a bet on leeds to get promoted @ 9/2 and stuck £20 on them so im standing to pick up £110 if there promotedwith doncaster 6/5 for promotion i could quite easily make it about 60 quid regardless but obviously with leeds favs im happy to let it ride for nowthink doncaster was brilliant last game but can they play that good again? leeds seem to always pick up the win when its most important this season alsoi think if match 0-0 at h/t on sunday i will probably cover a bit of my winnings on donny but hopefully i''ll be happy chappy come 5pm sunday

ZLF 335 Posted May 24, 2008 I want Rovers because they try and play football, but suspect that leeds will do it with all the braggarding that will follow from their vainglorious fans :-(

Mello Yello 2,572 Posted May 24, 2008 As much as it pains me to say it....I''ve got to hand it to Leeds for reducing their well deserved points deduction punishment, and actually achieving reaching the play-offs.I would though, personally prefer to see Doncaster in the Championship. With a nice tidy new stadium and predominately young squad, I personally think they deserve the opportunity, to show what they''re actually, about......Oh, and they also have the surname, of my favourite Chief Exec.....[:#]

Houston Canary 0 Posted May 25, 2008 I find it so amusing that big Leeds is in the 3rd, so let them rot there another season. sparklyhorse from faceparty lives in Doncaster and is a supporter of theirs, and she is a real tw*t, so that give me extra reason for wanting the Rovers to come so close (that''s what she said!) but not make it. Syteanric 1 Posted May 25, 2008 the Donny.... the keepmoat stadium is a lot better than Bellend road for one and no one is giving them a chance against Leeds... jas :)
Tim Allman 1 Posted May 25, 2008 Doncaster for a number of reasons1/ The Keepmoat Stadium would be a new ground to go to next season.2/ Leeds thug fans. We have experienced these on the train back to London the day Leeds played Colchester last season (or maybe the season before). Would be good to avoid them.3/ Too many teams with money in the Championship. Leeds, despite their financial troubles, would surely find the money to buy big. 4/ And the most important reason - my local non-league club, Wealdstone have a very tasty sell on clause for Jermaine Beckford who was transferred from Wealdstone to Leeds for around £50,000. If Leeds stay in League 1, there''s a decent chance he will leave, and Wealdstone will be £200,000+ better off.
