Who are you?

Recommended Posts

I haven''t posted on here for a while, mainly due to the downbeat nature of it. Suddenly however, since the signings i have been far more interested in peoples opinions, mainly possitive as well. Anyway, i thought it would be cool to find out who you all actually are. What are your jobs? I''ve just graduated from Lincoln uni and am looking for a job in the media. How about yourselves?

No wonder your not one of Clucks favourite posters then......

As for me, I work in insurance handling serious personal injury claims. Married with a 9 month old daughter and an increasing amount of grey hair - mid thirties (that sounds so bad!!).

I have just majored in script writing. Do you write for a theatre at all or are you just writing for publishers?

I write for theatre groups across the globe. They tend to get published through various sources, some are more succesful than others though. Occasionally, i''ll put on a show myself to debut a new play.

Once in a while my scripts make it to chain bookstores as paperbacks, others are available via downloads on websites. I offer scripts to schools / students for free, while amateur and professional performances i tend to negotiate a small percentage of the box office takings. Sometimes without success.

To sum up, i''m arguably the poorest canary fan on this board! I own an R plated Vauxhall Astra, and I eat a fair share of Tesco microwave meals.

That''s me in a nutshell. Great thread!

Hey dude! :) You should''ve looked us up, coming down to b-town, seriously! If you come down again, give us a shout - it would be a great laugh to see you again...!

Hows the wonderful world of full-time education treating ya? Good I hope!

I guess the million dollar question is; what gave me away? [:)]

Neil doesn''t post on here... he is too busy drinking with the rugby team doing no work, to bother actually sitting at his desk posting on here doing no work! The whole thing about Nigel getting married scares me...
