When we got relegated from the Premier League in the mid-nineties, I remember seeing a lot of people with t-shirts that said ‘On Loan to the Endsleigh’ on the front. They disappeared pretty quickly.

That’s really interesting. Thanks for sharing. I always wondered why they played the music so loud when it clearly kills the pre-match atmosphere so it’s good to know there is at least some thought behind it even if personally I’d prefer to let the fans sing. I was at Watford away a couple of years ago and the pre-match music was really quiet. Both sets of fans were singing at full volume and it made for a great atmosphere by the start of the game.

They really were awful. Some of what I saw in that game would have been embarrassing in Sunday league. Even so, pulling the trigger after one game seems very odd.

Same here. I’m exiled in Oxford. I’ve been here 14 years and have been waiting for Norwich to come here all that time. I’d have been gutted to have wasted my match pick so I’m grateful to this thread for alerting me! I never received an email from the club (they said that they send so many out that some just don’t make it).

I called the club yesterday and they said they didn’t know when Match Pick for Oxford was going on sale and to keep an eye on the website. As far as I can see there’s still nothing on the site. If it wasn’t for this forum I’d probably have totally wasted my match pick.

As a Norwich fan living in Oxford, I fully support this. I have gone to the odd Oxford game and would go to more if the Kassam wasn't such a dire place to watch football.
