Hopefully we take matters into our own hands tomorrow. But Hull vs Ipswich is a quandary. As is Huddersfield vs Birmingham - as we don’t want the latter to have anything to play for last game. Yet the former meet Ipswich last game and ideally would have something to play for.

I honestly could care less about the scum going up, as long as it’s in 2nd. Nobody remembers the runner up and we’ll get to have a go in the playoffs without having to play them.

Then it’s a win win really. If we go up, fantastic, it’ll take the gloss off their second place. If we fail to get promoted, we get the fun and excitement of the championship whilst being able to laugh at them from afar getting spanked every week. Plus we get our unbeaten run extended to 16 years by default.

No drama. Can’t lose really.

They'll still **** it up. Draw vs Hull tomorrow and lose to Coventry on Tuesday. Then Leeds to beat Soton on the last day.

I've stopped hoping for other results to help other teams stopping Ipswich getting into the top 2, when they dont even take advantage of it themselves.

This season, we did all we could...we gave Leeds and Leicester 6 pts each and took 4 pts from Ipswich

Fu ck Leeds if they didnt take advantage.

We now have to make them doubly regret not doing so by seeing them off in the playoffs ( if indeed we face them at all and someone else doesnt beat them in the other semi)

We don't want the scum in the Play offs, just bask in the glory of the 15 years and make it 16 in the PL next year. Russ and Daniel on the horizon in whatever order.

The most 'promotion by default in history'

....lets make sure we go up by the better route , at Wembley !

It's an interesting theory, Leeds and Southampton have thrown away an excellent opportunity to go up automatically, how is that promotion by default ??

Just put the TV on. What on earth is that kit that Leeds are wearing?!? 🤢

My Leeds friend says it’s become a bit of a cult classic and they call it the ‘fruit salad’ kit after the sweets. He won’t have a bad word said against it..

However he’s in 1975 mode when they ‘won’ the European cup. It turns out they over ordered them by the thousands… They dropped the price down to £20 and in true Yorkshire/Leeds fashion, he bought one for his new girlfriend for Valentine’s Day (£18 with season ticket discount) 🙄

P.S He also wants Farke gone by the semi with ‘Hull’🙄 (His words not mine) I just read his drunken rant this morning. Blames infiltration of Norwich mentally, reminded him of Fulham 05’ blah blah blah

Its like Paul Lambert vs Leeds all over again 🙄

I had to laugh at the comment on social media that wants Farke sacked before the play offs and a “promotion specialist” bought in to take them up.

Haha, tbf Farke is completely inexperienced at the playoffs on account of always winning the league by absolute miles when he was with us. 😉

Last night's result was very funny. We have a decent chance against that Leeds team if we meet them in the playoffs.

It is the natural order of things. Put the clocks forward, Leeds fall apart.

The Norwich mentality had briefly infiltrated when they made up the 15+ points on Ipswich and Leicester, then the Leeds mentality kicked in and they've fallen apart ...again

Farke seems to be on thinner ice at Leeds than he ever was at Carrow Road

He has less excuses for a start. At NCFC he was fighting for survival in the top league with a poorly assembled squad, at Leeds he has a good squad now getting battered in the Chumps.

Has he lost them, I ask? He seems to have lost the fans.

Where next? ITFC when McKenna is lured away by Man. U?😉

He wouldn’t do that I’m certain of it. Also re McKenna, now (in the summer) is the perfect time for him to jump ship. His stock is much higher than it will be this time next year. I’m saying Everton or West Ham will be his next stop.

They won’t fall apart against QPR and / or Blackburn as well.

I don't actually think Man. U. is out of the question, especially the way things are heading there currently.

A young, hungry, innovative and up-to-date manager rather than the foreign man with a fancy name but reputation outside the English game who will come at a cost might actually come in to the mind set of the decision makers at Old Trafford.

McKenna was assistant coach there to OGS for a while, wasn't he?  Had various other roles at the club, including working with youth.

McKenna supports Man. U. and should be flavour of the month if he gets little Ipsh-t up.

To be fair they have wanted Farke out for a long time now. If you can’t get that squad in the top 2 we’ll work it out.

It's probably not a bad outcome for Ipswich either. McKenna is still inexperienced. It's a great opportunity for them to build and improve with a EPL quality manager.

To be fair with the squad and resources Leeds have they should be in the top two. Fair to say anything else will be viewed as failure both by their fans and by their board.

And if Farke gets the boot do wonder where exactly he will end up

Presumably at a 'top Champions League Club' that many on here were predicting when he was here!

West Ham already have contenders lined up and interviewing them. Why would Everton sack Dyche who has had to manage the club with both hands tied behind his back. No way will McKenna leave Ipswich if they go up.

I have a Leeds supporting friend who is quite level headed. He says there are rumblings against Farke which will probably be louder now. His point was Leeds are still on course for 93 points more than 2 points a game. Which would have been enough points for automatic promotion in every season for the last tens plus years. Farke has delivered, what has held them back his the chaos he inherited at the start of the season. If they somehow don’t win the playoffs pretty sure they will finish the job next season and probably be stronger for it.

From our perspective I'm not sure we will go through over 2 legs against Leeds. We would need 3 or 4 nil at home. QPR did it, but I can't see Leeds being that bad again.

Our best bet is to do Ipswich a massive favour and beat Swansea thus virtually ending Hull's hopes, but nick 5th from WBA.

That's a very sane appraisal but I'd be amazed if that's the majority view of Leeds fans. It's certainly interesting to note that they could end up with four points fewer than our title season of 20-21, and that that will be the difference between being 'the best team in Championship history' ((c)BBC) and failure.

Yeah, our best route is surely two legs against Southampton, then a one-off game against Leeds or WBA.

Also, we could do with winning today... Last night makes it clearer than ever that there are No Easy Games In The Championship (Except Rotherham at Home)
