Greavsy 2,418 Posted April 24 Draw would be best IMHO. However i think after the cup semi Hull will have the edge.

Midlands Yellow 4,025 Posted April 24 Hull 7/4 to win tonight, very generous indeed.
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,793 Posted April 24 Theres pros and cons for both sides winning As we have a better goal diff over hull than coventry, theres an argument for them winning
sgncfc 1,237 Posted April 24 Doesn't matter what the result is tonight, we will still need something against Swansea to make sure - because I can't see us beating Birmingham if we have to.
Pyro Pete 1,909 Posted April 24 Lots of injuries to key players would be good.
Yellow Fever 3,814 Posted April 24 Ipswich have to play the both in the very near future? Hmm.

pete 320 Posted April 24 No points needed sixth place guaranteed. Hull too inconsistent to win next three. Cov will win this we were lucky they got in cup semi, otherwise would have been real contender for play offs.

cornish sam 960 Posted April 24 Surely we want hull to win so that they have something still to play for when they face the binners on Saturday?

Our best chance of winning the play-offs is if Ipswich are in them. Defeat for Hull would mean they are pretty much out of it and would be wet lettuces against Ipswich.

Mason 47 1,391 Posted April 24 Coventry win, for me. Gives Hull a reason to go at the Binners on Saturday, and Coventry then have them Tuesday- I'd like them to still imagine it might be possible by then, however slight. Strangely I don't see any way that we don't beat Swansea on Saturday which is where my theory might be a bit dodgy.

Ulfotto 640 Posted April 24 Probably worth reflecting the difference between being in the playoffs this season is 6 points off Hull and 4 points off Coventry.
Capt. Pants 4,270 Posted April 24 Hull's GD is hopeless though and +8 in our favour. If they lose tonight it would be even worse. A draw keeps them in it but only just.

Yellow Fever 3,814 Posted April 24 (edited) Its a must win if there ever was one for both sides. Should be full blooded encounter. Pros and cons both ways for us if it matters at all. Seems a win-win for us! Whoever loses or draws need to take out their full revenge on Ipswich. Edited April 24 by Yellow Fever
Midlands Yellow 4,025 Posted April 24 (edited) No Simms or Wright in starting X1 and O’Hare not even on the bench. Others missing too from the semi, pile on Hull on now. Edited April 24 by Midlands Yellow
