Jim Smith 2,339 Posted January 20 I’m sorry but he is a complete idiot. Nunez our best midfielder. Sara has his vest game for weeks when pushed forward. But no sodding Barnes behind Sargent leaving us exposed in midfield again.

Robert N. LiM 4,509 Posted January 20 Good to see Dimi back. I'd have Nunez for Barnes, but other than that it's ok.

rock bus 854 Posted January 20 Every time I have a bit of hope we are moving forward, Wagner ruins it. Why do Nunez and McCallum get dropped no matter how well they play? Why do Barnes and Gibson get played no matter how rubbish they’ve been? 1

This has 0-0 all over it for me (that should guarantee a goal fest ensues 🤣)
norfolkngood 1,091 Posted January 20 Sorensen Nunez Sara Kenny CB i would have been more hopeful like that
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,800 Posted January 20 Unless we're playilng a 3 man midfield, McLean shouldnt be in the team unless he's at the back. Wagner has ducked making the big choice we know should have been made between Nunez and McLean

Absolutely agree with your comments. Barnes slows down the play and is not quick enough. optomisitic
canarydan23 4,060 Posted January 20 He really is a ****ing moron. Nunez has been one of our best performers and is one of our fittest players.

To be fair, I thought Barnes had a really good game against Hull. Right, off to the ground... COYY!

Team I'd like to see- Gunn Stacey Duffy McLean McSam Sorenson Sara Nunez Rowe Sainz Sargent Foregoing the argument over the best LB, I believe this to be the best setup possible with these players. I doubt it will be though, I had to laugh at the official club 'predict the lineup' thing from yesterday- it'll be the usual 4-2-4 with Barnes up front. Easiest bet going. Hopefully I win the signed football. Head says plucky defeat. Heart says weird 1-0 win with a slice of luck

Grumpy 123 Posted January 20 I was really hoping that he would be trying McLean and Sorensen in midfield with Sara in the no10 role
norfolkngood 1,091 Posted January 20 Against strong in form teams you have to pack midfield not let them run at will at Gibson
king canary 7,679 Posted January 20 Feels like a worst of both worlds team. If he wants to play Barnes then surely you just set up like you did against Hull again? Instead we get McLean back into midfield and Barnes in at 10 meaning we're back to the deeply ineffective set up we had v Millwall. Don't get it at all.
Samwam27 532 Posted January 20 Imo that line up.weakens our defence and weakens our midfield. Weve played much bettter wirh Mclean in defence and to me we could go with Sorenson in midfield to iffer more protection

Indy 3,322 Posted January 20 Gibson & Barnes why! Barnes has been chuffing awful, far better playing McLean at the back and playing Nunez & Gibbs and psh Sara up to ten! McCallum has been far better recently and doesn’t deserve to be dropped. ****e team selection in my opinion! We shall see!

shefcanary 2,466 Posted January 20 Yep, chopping and changing looks good theoretically, but practically momentum counts for more. That midfield is just nonsense. Nacho had changed things.
