To be honest, it almost feels like a relief to write off promotion this season. I think everybody's exhausted by the rollercoaster of the last few seasons.

Some of us had written it off some time ago......

Well we can  all enjoy next season playing championship football- with top quality players , giving it all for the team, Delia and co has a new batch of quality steak and kidney pies and Dutch lagers 4 for a pound, and the drummer bashing away to his heart content, fun  times ahead

How many games do we give Idah? Hopefully only 6 more and then he can go on loan next season to see if he has anything to give at a lower level

This season was done a month ago, we will finish way off playoffs. We will then lack a budget to rebuild and will be in a mess again, the recruitment of 3 yrs has an awful lot to answer for. We are a rank average mid table team with far too many players who think they are better than they are- a fair few need to be culled.

Hanley was playing the Utd player on - just seen a replay along the line.

Edit-maybe it's not so easy being an armchair ref after all..?

Blackburn and Coventry losing, Millwall drawing, the opportunity is there, yet the players just don't look particularly motivated.

A few too many that just don't want to be here anymore come the end of the season I suspect.

We need to start signing players who don’t think they are better than they are.

The mentality of our players is as bad as our ability to play football.

Around of applause for city another top pressing game and fans a clapping - wagner will be pleased with the commitment, the only way is downwards.

Idah has been okay when he's played in his natural role, much like Sargent he just isn't playing in his position.

Define ok - I say he’s L1 player at best

Nothing about this team or the way we play resembles what you would associate with a Wagner team, same with us under Smith and in Farke's last third of a season. These players are incapable of gelling together, there's just no cohesion or logic to how the squad has been assembled or thought put into relationships that could form on the pitch. Ever since the start of last season we've always looked like a team that's never played together before playing no particular style. This is why I want a complete overhaul this summer even if it means lowering the individual quality of the team, we have to build a team that can play together coherently and in the style the manager wants. Whether you trust Webber to do that or not it's what we need. This all feels so 16/17 like before Webber took over, we're completely back to square one.
