Webber is under pressure massively in the summer to get the recruitment right. If he signs a load more and by Xmas we're not in the top six I think he will probably have to walk. The blame for this is not squarely at his door, but he has to shoulder more blame than most.

1) we are crying out for a decent CDM

Crying out for a system of play. Supposedly the whole point of the sporting director model was to have continuity and a clear way of playing from youth to seniors. All completely ripped up when Farke went. Recruitment nonsensical and the lack of a decent midfield in front of our two rather average CBs not helping. Just a collection of individuals shoehorned onto the pitch. Wed be better off having some more "limited" players but in a tightly knit system. The fact this lot are below the likes of Milwall and Luton really speaks for itself.

We need young players with something to prove. Not tired journeymen who have proved they cannot cut it in the prem.

Imo if anything he’s worse at the moment.  I‘m totally bemused at what our tactics are, what ‘style’ of play we’re trying to create. In important games we have utterly gone missing. 

Give him a preseason and we’ll hopefully see.
