Satriales 685 Posted July 8, 2022 Sorry if this has already been mentioned. This is a bizarre interview from someone who says he is buying Birmingham City. The planet this guy is from hasn't been invented yet!
Ken Hairy 3,779 Posted July 8, 2022 'prospective', wouldn't be the first time Bassini claimed to have bought a club when he hasn't, Bolton springs to mind. Birmingham fans will be praying he's premature again...
Peregrine Shorts 327 Posted July 8, 2022 tried to buy Charlton too, was a disaster at Watford....and he has a history of bankruptcy, should pass the fit and proper owners test easily

Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,835 Posted July 8, 2022 (edited) What a car crash of an interview. Even before looking at his incredibly dodgy history, this interview alone makes me think he should be nowhere near a football club. He sounded extremely drunk, so it's probably not very wise to go on national radio in that state. hogesar 9,717 Posted July 8, 2022 He's willing to go on national radio whilst quite clearly on illegal substances. He's been bankrupt (several times?) before. He caused so many problems for Watford. He's proven to be unreliable, involved in dodgy business deals and a proven liar too. So watch him pass the fit & proper owners test with flying colours. Capt. Pants 4,271 Posted July 8, 2022 That was painful listening. Lunatics like him shouldn't be allowed anywhere near football clubs.

Do you remember that pitch side rallying call at Carrow Road and post match interview at Ipswich by our leader? Now no one would want this clown in charge of their club but cringe time mic time has occurred here more than once.
vlad666 203 Posted July 8, 2022 Don’t know if he’s going to pass the fit and proper owners test 😂

True, but at least most people were laughing with Delia, as opposed to at her. 1 hour ago, vlad666 said: Don’t know if he’s going to pass the fit and proper owners test 😂 Jesus, he's going to have a sore head in the morning. Probably won't have any memory of it until he logs on to social media...
1902 1,167 Posted July 9, 2022 (edited) Is it me or having Birmingham had more than their fair share of idiots try to buy their club? Edited July 9, 2022 by 1902

TheGunnShow 5,983 Posted July 19, 2022 At least it's not Bassini. The kerfuffle he kick-started when Bolton was in the middle of being taken over... (and Bolton's then chairman, Ken Anderson, was also a shyster of the highest order) would surely mean he's not remotely "fit and proper". Wouldn't even wish Bassini on our Suffolk rivals.
