He’s about to be stripped of assets. where’s the fit and proper persons test?
KiwiScot 1,443 Posted February 26, 2022 I'm not sure what this means. Is this like the Steward of Gondor in Lord Of The Rings? In 10 years will Britney Spears be demanding the Stewardship of Chelsea be reversed?
cambridgeshire canary 6,718 Posted February 26, 2022 He's still the owner of the club. Just handing it over until the war ends then he takes back control. Coward move.
shefcanary 2,408 Posted February 26, 2022 (edited) During my nearly 20-year ownership of Chelsea FC, I have always viewed my role as a custodian of the Club, whose job it is ensuring that we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future, while also playing a positive role in our communities. I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. I remain committed to these values. That is why I am today giving trustees of Chelsea’s charitable Foundation the stewardship and care of Chelsea FC. I believe that currently they are in the best position to look after the interests of the Club, players, staff, and fans.  But who are the Trustees? The Real Buh 3,432 Posted February 26, 2022 It’s like Delia handing control of Norwich to the community sports foundation its filthy, creative accounting by an owner with blood on his hands.
duke63 542 Posted February 26, 2022 The Premier league has more blood on its hands. Its fast disappearing up its own arsehole.
duke63 542 Posted February 26, 2022 And just to confirm that, Everton have just been denied a blatant penalty by VAR. Obviously the badge checking did not take long.
Ken Hairy 3,772 Posted February 26, 2022 As others have said, moved it there so it can't be asset stripped, will move it back once this is over. Nothing to see here

Absolutely, this was the final straw and clear evidence that the premiership is rotten to the core and the refereeing is controlled by the big clubs and owners. It was a blatant hand ball - used his upper arm to control the ball. The Everton team should of walked off in protest. Its time the victims of this blatant corruption take a stand and just walk off. If enough teams take action then the whole thing will collapse like a pack of cards which is what is needed now to save the game.
The Real Buh 3,432 Posted February 26, 2022 Let’s not pretend that Chelsea and Roman Abrahmovich didn’t consult the premier league in making this decision its been cooked up as a way of maintaining Chelsea in their precious corrupt clown-league

Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,820 Posted February 26, 2022 It doesn't change a thing for Chelsea Football Club. Previously, Abramovich was the owner of the club with little involvement in the day-to-day running of it. Now, Abramovich is the owner with no involvement in the day-to-day running of the club.

FCC 76 Posted February 27, 2022 Poland - players and FA stand strong and refuse to play Russia, English FA turns a blind yet again.   The timing of this speaks volumes about how those titles were paid for - meanwhile we get slated for not competing with them.
