Norwich are a forward thinking, progressive club

As far as I'm concerned he can hire a private Jumbo Jet if it meant he would actually perform when he got here. Sadly, a pretty uninspiring substitute cameo seems to be the best we can hope for. 🙄

Have you tried driving, absolute nightmare, last mile takes longer than the other 99, did it once never again

But they still have to drive from the airport to the ground, so that last mile still has to be driven. Flying such short distances is a shocking waste of resources and emission of pollution.

Before we judge it very well could be a COVID precaution to limit everyone being close together for a much shorter period

Two games in 48 hours - three games in 144 hours - injury crisis - players trying to recover from Covid.

Under normal circumstances I would be dead against flying such short distances, but I think I'll cut them a bit of slack on this occasion.

Definitely a case of damned if you do. Sitting on a coach for 3 hours isn't a good alternative.

The journey yesterday would have taken far longer and would have involved an overnight hotel stay. There are a few regular posters who do nothing but criticise every single action of the club.

The squad flew down last night.....

Oh, and the Team coaches travel down there as well.....empty......

Yeah and I'm criticising the club...No different to those regular posters who do nothing but defend every single action of the club.....

Cambridge plays it both ways actually. The old Stalin tactic. Organise a riot then phone the police.

So you want a Covid hit squad in close proximity in a coach for 4 hours just before an important game. How wise is that

How wise is it that the squad, coaching staff and maybe a few board members all sitting inside an aluminium tube recycling air in a pressurised environment?....

Scrapin' the barrel now matey......

No doubt all those who are critical take their petrol/diesel car to the shop half a mile away, have a house full of Christmas tree lights on for a month, have umpteen gadgets to charge up every day and are currently sitting at home with the heating on.

Oooh no a plane. Fink of dur environment.

The same wet, brainwashed, simple goons who still wear face nappies and think we are all going to die, think a plane will destroy the world.

The brainwashing of the masses to think and comply is now proven, through climate nonsense and covid fear, to be so simple that govts across the world must be laughing with glee.

Utter proles.

Wow, I really hope for the sake of the poster that they are being sarcastic.

If everyone can reduce their non-sustainable activities by 1% then this would already make a massive difference. Burrying your head in the sand is not the answer.

Our piscatorial friend makes the odd sortee onto the forum to post as outrageously as the mods will allow. I think its probably when he comes up for a signal from his bunker under his house.

Yes all of which contribute about a hundredth of what that flight does... if that.

But they've only taken 1 flight whilst the complainers do the same 365 days a year.

You do the maths.

Ear's sum maffs from a com...plane...er... It'll actually be 2 flights  as they fly to Gatwick and back, and they're due back at Norwich around 20.00 hrs this evening.....

The club and board have a long history of using charter flights to away games more than quite a few times a season.....even when we were in the Championship.....just semantics....

The NCFC board may use a smaller chartered jet on the day of the away game, but that's if they don't travel on the Squad's larger overnight stay charter aircraft, to some destinations as near as Norwich to Doncaster Airport when playing the likes of Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield Utd & Wednesday etc.....Or Norwich to East Midlands airport for Leicester etc.....Manchester for Utd & City and John Lennon for Liverpool & Everton.....

But I suppose by using those convenient short hops in Chartered jets their carbon footprints are much smaller than the empty Team coaches that have to do the journey as well?.....Or maybe not?....Not bad for a penny-wise self sufficient club eh?.....

Anyway, it's team news soon with a bit o' Canary Call.... Then it's Amazon Prime for the match.....I probably have around a size eleven carbon footprint....

Feel free to criticise if my observations are unwarranted, uncomfortable or incorrect?......Anyway....Game on!.....
