Well, there's not much on that left-hand side, but Williams is always up for a scrap, Sargent can probably put the hurry-up on an Arsenal defender or two and Placheta's looked decent in his appearances recently. Hopefully Gilmour's fully recovered from his temperature.

A team full of first teamers, PL would not cancel with us putting out this team.  No issue with numbers but plenty questions about the quality of many playing today.

Pretty attacking formation/team (from what’s available) for a game against an in form team.

"Norwich hate Boxing Day - their last festive league win was 1987"

Is that correct or is it one of those top flight only stats

Every time Sargent steps on the ball or kicks his own leg or hits an air shot, I think to myself, 'Thank God, at last we won't play him any more.' But, like death and taxes, Sargent turns up on the team sheet.

I worry we’ll do another United/Villa Wolves/Newcastle. Play well today with lots of effort but ultimately get not we deserve then have to play virtually the same team who will be knackered in a game we were more likely to get points from.

At the risk of jinxing anything, I think today we will see that at 5m, buying Angus in summer will prove to have been a good move, despite some of the criticism the board has  faced since coming for the modest sum

I add that the funds were limited but it was a safe bet at some point krul would be out and i for one am far happier seeing Angus rather than McGovern or a youngster like bardan, not saying they didn't do okay and what was asked, just that I prefer seeing Gunn and I think it's money well spent. Always have!
