Howson too anonymous, Tettey offers very little, watching him jump for headers in a straight line annoys me! Naismith can be Wes replacement from the bench and the murphys can cover the wings if needed. Oliveira my obvious striker replacement. Martin needs to be right back cover and bassong in the centre. Howson is the best central midfielder we''ve got. It''s laughable that people honestly believe that Alex Pritchard (for all his undoubted quality) is equipped to play in a deep lying central midfield role in his place.

I think playing with Howson and Dorrans together in central midfield (whilst exciting) leaves you horribly exposed. The Liverpool and Newcastle games were massive illustrations of this where a lot of goals were scored by untracked midfield runners.
