1. Away wins are very hard to get in the Championship and most teams winning 10 away games usually get promoted. Last year 552 away games were played with only with only 152 away wins. The only 2 teams to achieve 10 or more away wins were Burnley with 11 and Boro with 10.
 2.
"To be fair to some of our players they could probably benefit from a fresh start on a personal level for exactly the same reasons." I think someone like Redmond will really benefit from his move to Southampton - a reasonably solid mid-table Premiership team. Those who were in both our Hughton/Adams squad and AN''s last season may well be suffering some confidence issues.
I would say most of our players like Redmond need a confidence boost after the stick they get from their own fans at Carrow Road. Remember that Harry Kane guy described as the worst player to ever wear a Norwich shirt and that Klose guy who was being described as a waste of money and worse than Docherty
 3. Lol op - Is the reason for your seperate Fletcher thread that you dont agree with the negative comments about him by a large percentage on that thread ? Think you could have come up with better slate the club threads than this one
 4.
Got nothing concrete at the minute, but did hear that Roy is always talking shop to Delia, think its common knowledge that he would of been our Manager at some point in the past if the timings would have been right. Just chewing the fat with someone fairly well connected and thought this type of set up, maybe even with Roy as a Director of football would be a favourable structure to support Alex Neil. Personally speaking, not a bad shout, think we all tend to have a higher opinion of the club that where we really are, and for us to land people of this ilk into our structure would be a positive..... Tin Hat on.............
You will def need your tin hat lol. All teams in the chumps are just the same as Newcastle are now showing Gayle to make up for Townsend. Will look out for your posts
 5.
We need to forget about Newcastle, we simply cannot compete with them. 50,000+ fans every week, a billionaire owner (albeit an odious one), a top-class manager (albeit an odious one), and one would suspect a big windfall coming their way for selling at least Wijnaldum and Sissoko (and maybe one or two more besides). If Newcastle don''t win the league I will be very surprised.
They are no different to the rest of us, Townsend on his way, if offers come in for their star players they will have to sell. But then we cant hit our club with a stick by reporting Townsend to Palace. Gayle was his replacement.
 6. Supporting a team that hates us so much to me would be like supporting Ip****
 7.
I hear Ray Lewington was well respected by the England squad and is a mate of Roy''s, whose a mate of Delia............
Hi Willo. Happy new transfer window to you, I hope you will be sharing some of your great info with us as usual as moves get close. Quick question is this little teaser something that we are trying to make happen ? or is it just a wind up. Look forward to seeing some of our targets as soon as they are close to signing
 8. The main beneficiary of this will be Langley school at £9000 per term.
 9. '' Hope I''m wrong but can only see impending disaster ''. - Said Pete Looks like it already Jerome has just signed a new contract ? Whats next on your beat the club up list ? And I assume you will not be mentioning this thread when you start your next one ?
 10. Was Turner,s contract not extended a year ago when we got promoted ?
 11. We manage to keep an International RB happy to act as cover and that is not good ?. Pinto was our improvement Whitts back up, Cant see the problem. Letting him go to another Champs team would improve that team would it not ?
 12. Character forming said '' I and a lot of us on here felt he had potential when he was with us, the question is how long do you give a player to fulfil that potential ? '' With Norwich fans you get 2 games unless you came through the academy then you can have as long as you like. But beware because as soon as you make it if you dont run around like a headless chicken you are not putting in the effort.
 13.
We are locked into AN for the start of next season so any managerial debate it pointless unless he has a bad start. If this happens then the illusion of the the best young manager in the world will evaporate. He cannot afford anything more than success next season. As for Lambert he is the best manager we have had since Mike Walker in his first spell and i would be happy to have lambert back, but the timing is not right and alas by the time it is clearer if AN will be a success or otherwise Lambert will be employed again
After his last 2 efforts ? doubt it. Would be a huge risk for any champs / PL club. Based on his recent record if we did not have a connection I would be horrified if he was linked with our club. Even if he made a success of it he would s^^t on us at the first opportunity
 14. I lived in Lichfield and traveled every home game. Live in Norwich now but where in Lichfield are you ? we were by Waitrose on the new estate
 15.
Not to worry, if the club didn''t occasionally make poor decisions then you wouldn''t have any sticks to beat it with. Think of the positives.
Spot on. Did not see people talking about how good he / their defence were last year when we tore them apart at Wembley. You cant have it both ways laugh at him if ripped apart by Jerome and then say we should never have sold him because he was good in a division below us.
 16. Also suggested only 2 will get promoted from champs ie champions and play off. On that basis cant see it happening however would not mind betting that the Premier League will get it through somehow, they seem to be the main pushers of this.
 17. Think you will find he had many Carrow Road critics who basically decided after a couple of games he was c**p. Given plenty of stick so never managed time here ala Harry Kane described as the worst player to ever wear a Norwich shirt and Klose who was described as worse than Docherty.
 18. Unless Villa are planning to keep mainly the same squad they will be paying a lot more than £60 m as their top 23 players have 78 years left on their contracts and an estimated £100 m to buy the contracts out. They may try to sell those players but not many would attract big clubs and even if they were let go for free their wages would be slashed. I would suggest most of those would therefore ask for payments to move and their contracts at least in part bought out.
 19.
Btw, this is not meant as to be directed at any particular poster on this thread, even though the above ''complaint'' can be seen as of relevance. Instead, there seems to have been a particular proliferation of ''know it all posts'' recently, made all the more risible by the fact that the perpetrators get so carried away with their own opinions and ''superior'' knowledge that they frequently feel sufficiently endowed to actually insult the opinions of others.
Strange really the poster Willo was hounded for putting the exact team that played each game the night before we played each week. He also listed our summer signings last year and in Jan. He had a whole thread devoted to telling him not to put the team on anymore as the opposition might read it. So clearly then his info was 100 % correct. He has now stated in a thread on here Klose is happy wants to stay and is going to stay unless we get an offer that just cannot be refused. He has also said Naismith will stay again provided WE dont sell him. To cap it he also said ( before the paper talk ) Redmond was 99 % certain to go and Brady highly likely to go. Now I feel Willo is in the know and you cant have it both ways ie slate him when he gives team info as he is obviously in the know and slate him when he says things using the you cant possibly know that bit. So yes I have to disagree certain posters who have prooved their credentials really are in the know
 20. Looking like yet another team will be allowed to break FFP to achieve '' The Dream ''. In all the stuff re the the sale by that BBC sports Midland person ( forget his name ) there is one amazing bit of info that just shows how appalling Villa were run. Many of their player contracts were extended in the summer and leading up to Jan 2016. This meant that 23 of their players currently have an astonishing 78 YEARS of contract left. An average of approaching 3 1/2 years each. At times you wonder if it is worth clubs like ours operating properly and within all the rules as surely most of these contracts will be bought out or players sold for minimal fees allowing Villa to bring in whoever they want on silly wages breaking FFP. O well.
 21.
Well Lambert and Hughton did better with lesser squads so it doesn''t really stack that he''s had "nothing to work with". Perhaps he just didn''t have enough about him to squeeze that bit extra out of them - which is what makes the difference for a Norwich manager in the Prem
Lambert inherited a squad 3 times better than ours at Villa added to it and still managed to help get them where they are today ?
 22.
Another cracking game tonight to go with that of last night. Brighton on last night''s showing, Hull on the week-end''s showing and Derby tonight would have surely given our own lot a game to remember. Pertinent factor which is related to the other thread about next season''s top six. It very much depends on who we can hang onto and who we can replace for better in the Summer''s dealings. Both our youth academy lads, Martin and Shackell are playing well enough to suggest that we could have done with them last season, particularly CM who is looking the complete package. Both of them are big, powerful units who look as if they might (now) be well suited to the higher level. ten minutes left for them to get that chance. I note bene that neither Butterfield nor Johnson are starters, and Derby seem all the better for leaving the latter on the bench. Snoddy doesn''t look quite the influential player that he was with us, but he''s been ok and will likely succeed in the Premier League again. Overall, it would seem better for our chances to get Derby out of the contest, but Hull are closing in on a Wembley appearance by the looks of it. Tom Ince doesn''t look a patch on Nathan Redmond and I had once thought him to be the next big thing. All the talk about Redmond inevitably leaving doesn''t really please me as it will likely transpire. The only consolation for me would be the big fee we should get, especially if a few teams seek him. Our chances of success next season would, IMO, diminish that little bit should we lose him.
Get to the bookies quick you can get a good price on us finishing outside the top 6. If you want a bottom half finish 8/1 and 40/1 to be relegated.
 23.

klose will be here next season no need to worry ;-)
Like you''re in the know [:|]Pillock.
Unless we get a huge offer for Klose he will be here next season bigger pillock. Even Willo who has shown over and over again that he is 100 % in the know has stated this ?
 24. Unless there is a huge offer for him he will be here at the start of the season.
 25.
I am trying to figure out who has been the worst signing(s) in NCFC history: a) Naismith, a near 30 year old who doesnt score many goals £8.5m b) Wolf £8.5m c) Fleck - his return from Chelsea d) Mortensen £300k and Cooney £350k (rather than buy Newell for £700k and possibly win the league) e) Beckford £925k I''m going for a) given the size of his fee and his age.
Several on here said some guy called Harry Kane was the worse player to ever wear a Norwich shirt so not sure why he is not on your list. Another for your list is Klose who was described by a number of posters as being worse than Docherty. Let Naismith get fit for next year then judge him I reckon unless you feel AN is lieing about his match fittness now
