    When taking corners, ball must be within the quadrant. If sin bins to be brought in, why an additional coloured card? Just use the yellow card for this as in Rugby. If var to be retained, impose 30 second time limit or on field decision stands.

    The irony is that they vilified Steve Bruce for having committed the heinous crime of previously managing Sunderland, yet danced in the street when taken over by people that bombed babies in Yemen and butchered a journalist.

    Can''t say I would be too upset if Leicester got relegated. I enjoyed them being top at first, but after they whinged about and appealed Vardy''s deserved red card last year, together with all the Jamie Vardy masks the supporters wore during his suspension, I thought they were taking themselves a bit too seriously.

    Thought it was a total cop out by Hartson and Sinclair on MOTD with their that''s just Joey being Joey stance, when they should have taken him to the cleaners for his pathetic antics. As for his tweets trying to defend himself, he would have been better off keeping his mouth shut, but obviously that is something he is not capable of.

    Have just ''wasted'' the best part of an hour on this thread. Some great photographs here, and the Norwich Union video is brilliant. Thanks to everyone taking the trouble to post them.

    I have great respect for John Hurt, and would gladly have paid tribute to him before the game. I don''t really approve of this mid game applauding as I find their determination quite contrived and also think they are distracting, What if a penalty had been awarded on 77 mins or he had died at the age of 95?

    I''m sure that 20 minutes or so that Snodgrass played during the 14/15 season was instrumental in Hull being relegated.

    I agree he is a good pundit, but like many good pundits, they''ve never really done it for real. If they are that good, maybe they should try it. Many of those that do have been known to fall flat on their a*ses (Gary Neville)?

    Thanks so much for posting this link, I really enjoyed watching it in full and got quite emotional. I was at the game as a 10 year old. Loved the shots of the crowd standing pitch side of the barriers behind the Barclay End goal. Happy days. I also remember my Dad taking me to Hampden Park for the Scotland v England game in 1970 with my Norwich City shoulder bag and being stopped on a couple of occasions to talk about Tommy Bryceland. R.I.P Tommy

    Our no. 4 was Ray Grant, son of Peter. I thought he was our Man of the Match, although I wouldn''t argue strongly against the Keeper getting it. I must admit I went expecting to see a masterclass from Villarreal, but we more than matched them

    Talk about a broken record. If you look back far enough you''ll find posts stating that his position in the team should be replaced by Micky Spillane! Whatever happened to him while Russell Martin was gaining 2 promotions from the Championship, playing 3 years in the Premiership and becoming an International regular. Surely Lambert, Hughton, Strachan and now Neil would not keep picking him if he was as inept as some make out?

    I wonder if those who are up in arms about this are the same people who slated him last time in the Premiership and then decided he had '' found his level'' in the Championship?

    I assume Alex Neil was there and celebrating our goals. Difficult to say, because every time we scored or went close the cameras cut to Dick Advocaat rather than show any of our management team celebrating. I had to be calmed down by my wife because I was so incensed by it. The panel tried to praise us but kept going back to how bad Sunderland were.

    I like the comments on TWTD implying that even if the money goes straight to Marcus Evans, the Police should pay it back because its the moral thing to do! You couldn''t make it up, could you?

    I''ve just spent an entertaining few minutes reading this thread from the start. Lots of honest posts from people admitting they had never heard of Alex Neil but prepared to offer their support, along with lots giving their expert opinion that we were doomed and it would result in demonstrations. Most of us were aware at the time they knew diddly squat about football club management. You only had to read some of their suggestions for the new manager. I wonder how many of these experts were celebrating at Wembley pretending they knew all along how good he was?

    It is when I read threads like this when somebody criticises our majority shareholders, I am reminded of the night we won promotion at Portsmouth. In his post match interview, Steve Cottrill, the then Pompey manager, had the usual moan about refereeing decisions etc, then went on to say how delighted he was for Delia and everybody, calling them "real football people" How many other BoDS could this be said about?

    OK, I promise this will be last comment on this web site before I seek professional treatment for my addiction. There is currently a thread running about Hooper going out on loan to Bolton(?) and a discussion about whether he would be of any use to them. All sensible stuff so far until some absolute clown says that he wouldn''t want him because his wages would be too high (still sensible stuff) and he would only be their "4th choice striker"!!!! And I think I need help.

    Why did somebody put a link to this site on here the other day? I''ve become addicted to it (for entertainment purposes). Deluded threads about signing Shaun Wright-Philips, Joey Barton (how are they going to pay them)? I even read one saying it was ''embarrassing'' that there were some empty seats in our end at Wembley! Such super keen eyesight obviously doesn''t work at Portman Road where most weeks it was more difficult to spot a seat with somebody actually sitting in it! Still, it''s nice to know they were interested enough to watch us.

    A minutes applause was introduced as a cop out to those morons who can''t keep quiet for a mere 60 seconds. I can remember before a game against Blackburn several years ago when a silence was held for Bobby Moore, and this idiot couldn''t contain himself and bellowed out some innane comment at about the 40 second mark. Is one minute too much to ask?
