1. So promotion to the Premiership as champions was only a "modest" achievement was it?If that''s how some people really think, then the coming years are going to be fun...
 2.
He is a also part of the problem. So Delia, before you get any idea''s of promotion from within, Hunter and all current coaches Out!. Sweep clean with a new broom, its the only way.
Lol, it''ll be the tea ladies'' next Wiz!
 3.

And it''s becoming increasingly obvious to me that some posters hate the manager and love the protests more than the football club [+o(]
I agree with that. Constructive critisism is one thing but some people seem to have quite a vendetta towards the manager or board. How someone can state that Worthington doesn''t really give a toss about the club is beyond me, afterall none of these people know him personally - do you?
I agree. I can imagine it will be very difficult for him to leave a club he took from the depths of division one, and up into the prem (and back down again). People seem to enjoy making him out to be a monstrous fellow - I guess dehumanising makes him easier to bully.
 4. Worthington is no doubt at fault for the performances, but the ultimate responsiblity lies with the board. After all, they''ll be here still when he''s gone.
 5.

No, I''ve been called KTF but mainly by USA Canary who can''t post without the letters KTF in it. I wanted Worthington to succeed. But not because I was a fan of his, just because I really didn''t want it to come to this.
The reason it has "come to this" is because of the actions of Worthington. There would be no protests or disgruntled people if the club was heading in the right direction. You are/were a KTF because you thought he could turn it around, most of us knew better.
If you think Worthington is solely responsible for us not heading in the right direction, I feel you may be disappointed soon...Yes, the manager/team has been underperforming for the last 12 months, but the board have always had the power to end his tenure as management, and have chosen to "fully support" their manager. Frankly, I think their recent statement is another case of them trying to maintain their "holier than thou" status, and diffuse protests on Saturday, when frankly, they are entirely responsible for our current mess as far as I am concerned. Yes Worthington is at fault, but they should have acted sooner.
 6. Worthington made a great impact when he arrived, but has become stagnant recently, as is unable to motivate the squad and/or tactically alter the game when things aren''t going well. I agree with the board''s philosophy of consistency, but there comes a time when a change is needed to freshen things up. I thank him for his contribution over the first few seasons of his tenure, but I can see no way back for him. However, the fact he is still in a job isn''t his fault. The fact there has been no investment in the squad isn''t his fault. The board are perhaps at least as responsible as he is for our dramatic collapse this season. Prudence with ambition? Clearly, prudence applies to the football, ambition applies to corporate hospitality and a cushy working environment for all the club''s employees. Initially, I had respect for the board, but it now seems the majority of them just want the easy life. Thanks Worthington, but we all need to move on to different things.
 7. I agree entirely. On a more serious note - good to see our young players making a bit of name for themselves. I would rather see them coming through than us making "knee-jerk" signings.Did anybody listen to Radio Norfolk tonight? actually found Canary Call good to listen to - some good points made. Looking beyond the management, you have to ask why the board haven''t made more money available. Would be interesting to compare players out to players in over that last couple of years.
 8.
Just heard the news from Elland Road, where Leeds have lost at home to Sunderland .The Leeds fans weren''t slow in  making their feelings known, chanting for Blackwell to go, unlike the majority of Norwich fans, who seem to be  putting up with dross for the third season running. And it''s not that Leeds fans are fickle or not "true" supporters - they are some of the most passionate and loyal in the land - it''s simply that they love their club and can not bear to see it mis-managed. Consider this.....if City''s home and away results were swapped around, i.e reasonable away form but abysmal home form, Worthington would have been sacked long ago because the pressure from the fans during and after home games would have been too great. We would by now have a good strong manager who would not stand for the frequently weak and shabby performances of our so-called stars. We would sign good players who would be motivated and wear the shirt with pride The new dynamic manager would bring the best out of any current players who remained. We would spot and sign players before they came to the attention of other clubs thus  getting the best out of our modest budget. The feel-good factor would return and we may even win one or two away games ! Just because the poor results mainly happen away from home, they seem to escape the attention of the majority of fans, who appear to think all is well just because we win a good proportion of the home games.  The fans who follow City away from home are perhaps too loyal and supportive and therefore too tolerant of the spineless  performances they pay good money to watch. In a funny sort of way this blind support can actually end up being counter-productive because the board will believe that the fans are happy and the changes which are required will never happen. I implore all Norwich fans to open their eyes, look at the overall picture, take a leaf out of the Leeds fans book, put pressure on the board and get Worthington out. A change of manager can work wonders - just look at Ian Dowie''s appointment to replace Steve Kember at Palace a couple of years ago and now Roy Keane at Sunderland, who looks set to achieve something similar. Don''t put up with this for a second longer - act now!
Hang on, we''ve only made one signing since last season; BUT - for the most part, we are unrecognisible from the team that played last season. In my book, that is a substantial improvement, and you still think it is a good idea to sack the management team when things are getting better?! Come on, just change the record. Nobody is suggesting Worthy is the best manager in the world, but most people have the realism to see that everything is not dire, and to upset the apple cart would not be the brightest thing to do.
 9. And the sad thing is, it sounds like he had a very good game.Unlike, say, Shackell (maybe a bit harsh - I wasn''t there), who sounded anonymous. Just another indication of the unfair treatment given out by some of our fans.
 10.
I prefer his other thread, as to why having no number 1 in the squad is a sign of mis-management.  Funny because I thought it was down to Green being sold after the squad numbers had been registered ???v
Absolute genius. [;)]
 11.

I dont see the harm in getting Sutton in on a pay as you play. What could go wrong? We pay him for a couple of weeks, realise that he cant do the job and get rid of him, or find out that he is a brilliant championship player who you have paid no transfer fee for. Worthington cant find anyone. Two that dont have a club, Sutton and Ferguson. I think that a protest should be arranged to try and get Sutton in. What do you think?
ROFLMAO!
I would absolutely love to see people protesting about this. Ironic humour of the highest order!
 12.
I tell you what, you get the team you deserve.  People on this site saying a point was a good result last night.  A point against Southend can never be a good result in my book let alone when you''re 3-1 up.  There is even someone on here saying that it was a good game being 3-3!  A good game if you''re neutral perhaps but you''re not are you? Why are people blaming the manager?  I don''t know may be it''s because the team is entirely of his making and that he consistently proves that he is tactically inept.  You see one half decent performance and that''s it you''re happy.  If you think that we''ve played well in general this season you''re deluded.  Why is it a huge number of Norwich fans are just happy to sit down and shut up no matter how poor a side we are.  Where''s the ambition?  Do you not care that we are not improving or making any progress?  There''s a loser mentality that pervades this club and it starts with the fans.
I suppose it depends on your viewpoint really. Would you rather watch an entertaining game that you aren''t guaranteed to win (Norwich), or boring, predictable football where you win 95% of the time (Chelsea)? Personally, I go to the football to be entertained. Even if the result goes against us, I am happy if the team puts in a good performance. Maybe that makes me a "loser", but of more concern to me is the fact that some of our fans seem to think we have the sudden divine right to win every single game. I suggest that attitude would be more suited to supporting the aformentioned club - as there is a difference between ambition, and baseless arrogance. Everyone wants to win, but to some fans, that is not the be all and end all.I think most people blame the manager because he is the figurehead of the club, and therefore (on a simplistic level) is responsible for everything bad that happens at the club. Others recognise that there are many, many other factors which are beyond his control. The thing that makes me laugh is that you call him tactically inept -- well, did you say that after our 2-0 win against Man. U in the Premiership? How about after our 5-1 win last week? What about when we won the Championship by 10+ points? And before anyone starts accusing me of living off past glories - I simply try and take into account his entire contribution to the club rather than just his mistakes to try and prove my point. I have no doubt he could have done a lot of things better, and has made bad decisions, but we have come a long way since he took over. I think the most telling thing is that peoples'' hateful attitutde to him indicates exactly what the club has achieved whilst he has been here. If we were still fighting for our survival at the bottom of the league, fans'' expectations, I''m sure, wouldn''t be so high.As it stands, anything and everything he does will not be good enough to some.
 13.
Billy B: What did it for me Billy was the alledged Eastwood inquiry (no, I don''t believe it either mate) and the lack of essential new signings. All Worthless (Yes, I have turned back to the dark side) does is inquire, while other managers sign players, ours just inquires!. Jeez, you couldn''t make it up.
Pantomime at its best - have you ever considered being the dame Wiz? I think you''d carry it off superbly.
 14. I don''t deny that the football is entertaining, and we have had more than our fair share of comebacks -- but you look at the goals last night, and one was from a needless freekick, the other from a poor piece of defending.Besides which, you say yourself we should have won it. It just irritates me because it reminds me of Palace in the Premiership season - same scoreline!
 15. There''s another thread on the official message board blaming Worthington for not "playing to our strengths", and trying to close the game out. In a way I can see where they are coming from, but with the quality and experience of our midfield (an squad in general), it is completely inexcusable that we lost our heads and threw away 3 points. Yes, EVERYTHING can be traced back to the manager, which is why some people persist on blaming him all the time, but we pay our "professional" players a lot of money to do their jobs correctly, and against a team like Southend they should be able to hold their nerves.Having said that though, it apparently wasn''t a free kick for their second goal, so it''s just another typical away game for Norwich.

 17. Rudolph, you make some very interesting points. My take on the situation is that the Premiership is, on the whole, not so entertaining for the neutral supporter. Yes, you see some great football, but the majority of games are predictable and boring. In fact, I rarely even watch Match of the Day anymore -- I''m just not interested. The Championship is far more competitive, as can be seen from some of the results so far this season - which by definition makes for greater entertainment, at least for me, as I''m not really interested in the whole fashion/media aspects of football.Having said that, for Norwich to get into the Premiership and hold their own, without the assistance of an "investor", would make me proud! As an ambitious club, we still have to aspire to the top level - but I truly believe the amount of money in that league nowadays is destroying any chance the smaller clubs have of becoming truly competitive.
 18. Perhaps it is just me, but have you spectuacularly missed the point Yankee? I don''t think the first poster ever suggests people should not discuss "broad" topics; however, I think he was suggesting it is rather boring to read the same threads making the same points over and over again. I don''t really think anybody can disagree with this - at least people could make the effort to put their thoughts in existing threads rather than start a new one. For you to say people can''t comment on this is very hypocritical given the general tone of your post.I completely concur with your discussion of the attitude of some posters who attempt to pigeon hole people. This is possibly one of the most ridiculous aspects of the whole "KTF/WO" issue - everybody has their own, differing, opinions which (of course) have been much discussed over the past months. I miss the days when people could seriously discuss NCFC without fear of being pigeon-holed, and having their posts ridiculed because of this. Also, thank you for your grateful provision of a rod with which we can fish in the sea of footballing discussion - I can''t speak for anyone else, but I don''t know what I would do without it. I trust I have suitably supplied you with some bait...
 19. Pretty disrespectful, but to be honest I didn''t really expect anything less.Sometimes it''s not what you say, it''s the way that you say it. You would at least think he was at least slightly grateful to a team that took him out of league one, and (briefly) into the Premiership...
 20.
The comedy bit was when Hucks hit the side netting and we all stood up and cheered only to look like buffoons when Hucks didnt start celebrating.
Sssshhh, I''d just forgotten all about that! I must have been sitting in front of you as I did exactly the same thing - felt slightly silly afterwards... still, it was a good laugh anyway!
 21.

I''m sorry last season wasn''t good, but continue like we have started this season then ,Worthy my friend all is forgiven, and welcome back. Tonight was fantastic. Dickson Etuhu showed what he is all about tonight.
As far as I''m concerned Worthington will never be forgiven, but I am quite happy to see my team doing well.
Let''s be honest, we''ve had 2 good seasons, one lukewarm season, and one poor season under Worthington''s management. Frankly, I think he deserves to be given another go, I''m glad the board have given him the opportunity, and it''s great to hear the Oles return to Carrow Road. I thought he should have walked last season, but if he can turn it round, then he has my full support as the manager of a club I''m passionate about.I would not put personal grudges over the success of NCFC - but some people obviously see different, and that''s an opinion I guess they''re entitled to.
 22.
...I feel he has single handed managed to destroy the club I fervently supported and looked forward to seeing...
And they say the KTF group are blinkered...
 23.
Just why I don''t like Drury! His positioning is poor, and he can''t mark.
What about all the vital blocks he''s made for us, like at Leeds? It''s far too easy to moan about mistakes he''s made, but on the whole, Drury is an excellent defender.
 24.

Leon is enthusiatic, skill wise he is not up to Championship standard .
In your opinion. In my opinion you''re wrong.
I think he is more than adequate for the Championship. He is not a great finisher, but his tenacity and strength adds a certain depth to our attack.
