1.
I''m glad they''re down as Holloway gets right on my nerves. The media love him because he''s supposed to be a wacky "character", when in reality he''s just an annoying gas-bag. Also, Leicester''s a dump which I won''t miss visiting.
Well, after using his BBC column to slate Roeder, I personally think it''s hilarious that they''ve gone down, especially with all the money that they spent.
 2.
WBA may have already been promoted by the time they play Southampton, so I wouldn''t predict a Soton loss yet.
Well, assuming Stoke beat Colchester, West Brom will still want to win to make sure of the title
 3.
I''ve been trying to tell you all this for a couple of weeks now. It looked easy to some when we only needed a point from 4 games. It''s a point from 2 games now and anything can happen.
Well it completely depends on the results as to what happens. A point wouldn''t make us safe. Looking at the games there''s so many permutations. Even if we lost to QPR, if Sheffield Wednesday don''t beat Leicester, they''d need to beat us, and even then Leicester would still need a point from their final game away to Stoke. Southampton have got West Brom away and Sheff United and it''s difficult to see them getting anything from those games.Basically it''s in our hands, and the others have tougher run-ins.
 4.
Well done yellow river!!! at last somebody gets the point. a question then for some of you who clearly didnt get the point..how would you have felt if whilst over the limit he caused an incident involving a loved one or a friend ? yes people do make mistakes, including myself , but i thought pattisons treatment this afternoon brought shame to our fine club and city.
The point is that so far no-one knows the precise facts. All we know is that Pattison was arrested for being over the limit (we don''t know exactly how much) and that the club so far haven''t made a statement on the matter.  We have a tabloid story about the player turning up at the Colney gates in his pants and being checked into a rehab clinic, which Glenn Roeder has poured scorn on. It could be a simple case that he was drinking the night before, got the day wrong and didn''t realise he was over the limit. Until we know the facts, we can''t comment eitherway.
 5.
PS - why should I care what a Wolves fan thinks about next season''s prospects. Do you base your opinion on the 15 seconds you get to see of us on the ITV highlights programme every Sunday? Your thoughts on this subject are meaningless - I wouldn''t claim to offer any insights into Wolves'' prospects, so why do you continue to keep posting here?
Rather him than Wiz
 6.
I seriously can''t believe some of the posts on here since we lost to Leicester. Since that direction changing international break after Plymouth (a) there have been numerous occasions at home and specifically away were City have either rode their luck or just commited plain daylight robbery, very few could argue against that... but some will. These results have just papered the cracks that were there anyway.
Staern John missing a penalty in the Southampton game and the Sheffield United offside "goal" spring to mind.
 7. I thought you meant a moaning pundit (with or without the big chin), and I was about to point out that we have plenty of them on this board.
 8. WBA have already said that they''re over-budget and it''s only because they''ve got the pending sale of Curtis Davies that they''ll be able to afford him.
 9. I''d don''t think the issue is the midfield, the issue is lack of cutting edge upfront. Whilst Dion is playing out of his skin, he''s pretty immobile these days, Jamie can''t buy a goal which just leaves Ched.
 10. ah but this is norwich, we''re 1-0 up and we''ll spend the next 45 minutes biting our fingernails
 11.
Hang on. At present we are safe but many a slip between cup and lip. I still believe that Roeder will leave this club poorer and is only here to enhance his reputation. He still eyes the premership as where he wants to be and not with us.He will find some excuse to desert at the end of the season leaving us with same old squad and no new signings. I will apologise at the end of next season if he is still here as he will be linked with every vacancy between now and then. Please give me as much abuse as you want, but it is only my opinion-unless any one out there agrees
Well he''s doing a great job of enhancing his reputation :-P He''s worked miracles with a threadbare squad.I find it unlikely that he''d leave Norwich, especially given the cut-throat nature of the Premership relegation battles.
 12. If Birmingham get relegated, I think there''s a strong chance that they''ll reinstate him at the heart of their defence, since he''s so good at Championship level. With Wigan and Bolton both winning, Birmingham''s position is looking precarious.
 13.
It''s never that simple is it? You get people moaning that all these players are rubbish, we''re not going anywhere or whatever, and then you get the people who think everything is brilliant, we''ll reach the playoffs and everyone will live happily ever after. Has anyone ever thought it might be somewhere in between? Here''s my view (as if you care): I think (in my opinion) we are skint, or at least close to it. That''s why we''ve only made one permanent signing and a load of loan signings. Especially as we''ve sold two players for £400k each and let more go on frees.
Well, for a start we had a £1 million bid on the table for Martin Taylor, but Birmingham wouldn''t let him go as they couldn''t get a replacement in.Also, we were sniffing around Martin Paterson, but Scunthorpe won''t play ball until they get relegated. So I''d say that there''s about £2 million available, but they''re trying to spend it wisely and get value for money.
 14.

Are we signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink from Celtic?
Thats original!
Reminds me of that Fast Show sketch where the woman would suggest something, they''d ignore it, only for a guy to repeat it moments later and get all the plaudits.
 15.
How frustrating. I have found 10 of the players, but I''m completely "foxed" by one. He''s the six letter centre back. Can anybody give me a clue please?
Big clue is to think of central midfielders ;) Especially ones sold for good money at the end of that season or the next one
 16.
The recent story in the Pinkun that leads with Roeder buying in bulk is a little curious to me.  But Roeder said: “Every position is on my shopping list. When I''ve finished you won''t recognise this squad.”
Well, if things go the way they look like they''re going, the squad on Feb 1st will be identical to the one we have now.
 17.
Isn''t it slightly dangerous, though, to just assume we''ll be okay this season and just save the cash (if there is any) for next year? It''s not as if we''re safe or anything.
Especially since Ched Evans'' loan at the moment is only for a month, and with Dublin/Cureton/Evans up front we couldn''t score against Leicester. If you''re going to remove Brown and Strihavka, then you''ve got to bring another striker in.
 18. The comments from Roeder the initial Taylor bid seemed to infer that money was available, but if we matched the QPR bid, then there wouldn''t be a lot left for anyone else. I''d guess Roeder has secured a pot of around £1.5 million to spend.
 19.
Big gaps evident at St.Andrews on MOTD last night and even at a 20,000 capacity Fratton Park. Sort of puts our crowds into context doesn`t it? Small club? Absolute b****cks!
Also highlights the impact of the TV money, Portsmouth have Sol Campbell on a reported £100,000 a week and Diarra on £50,000. Creates an unlevel playing field.
 20. Well, the ticket prices were discussed in November, when relegation was a serious possibility (and it''s a still a slight possibility now)
 21. I see the ghost of Dave Cotterill hovering over us................ Great, so we might be getting someone in on loan, byut then again we might not. This feels like yet another "We''re trying really hard but can''t get anyone" story.
