Not sure how longs left on his contract but if that''s true I wouldn''t be surprised if he tried to negotiate a new contract or look elsewhere for more money.

Randomly I was at the Brentford game last night. I''d completely forgotten Adeyemi was there until the line up was read out. I noticed before the game he was going around a few of the players trying to encourage them and motivate them & even gave the keeper a hug, he certainly seems to be well respected there. As for his play he had great positional sense both attacking and defensive and made quite a few interceptions and showed a decent range of passing although he can''t tackle for toffee. On last nights showing he looks to have a decent career ahead of him, just hope he makes the step up and gets to prove his worth in a City shirt.

Didn''t the legend that is Adam Drury come through the youth ranks before we released him? He went on to play for our 1st team & is still in the football league. Could also have added Darel Russel to that until very recently.

According to the fixtures and results on the pink un we drew 0-0 with Everton on 23rd Feb. Can''t say I remember seeing that game.

Watching a bit of the Man City - QPR game as that happened. Barton allegedly elbowed Tevez (not conclusive from the reply), got sent off, kicked Nasri I think it was and tried to headbutt Kompany then Balotelli (who else?) trries to get involved before Barton finally leaves the field. A long ban awaits for Mr Barton next season me thinks.
