I should imagine, given his form this year, his agent will be working very hard to get him a new contract so a lot of ‘interest’ is bound to hit the press. Think I read he was on 5K per week so that’s a big factor.

Whilst we all know we are a selling club, I think that holding onto Aaron’s and Cantwell when their stocks were high and that Webber quote about not selling our star assets for under 40m May have been a lesson learnt by the money counters. I suspect he won’t be sold in January as that will hint at giving up on this Season. Could easily see him going in the Summer to balance the books.

When your CF keeps dropping back into midfield there was no outlet whatsoever, it was only ever a question of when they would score as we invited so much pressure.

I thought I had read somewhere that Carrow Road would be covered in water in the not too distant future anyway.

I did expect us to be fitter. That was the Wagner way, or do I thought. As someone has mentioned elsewhere half the team looks knackered after 65/70 minutes. Great if we have a bench full of talent…we don’t.

We do have Gibson, I think he has more OGs than goals for City now.

The only good thing about this season, and I say this through gritted teeth, is we didn’t waste another fortune on dross, we picked most of it up for free so we have a least balanced the books. Having said that there are a few squad players here earning a very good wage from us…we see little in return.

Think the difference was then and still is, a Skipp type player protecting the CBs, both Gibson and now more so Duffy look like Deers in the headlights when anyone with any pace attacks them. We STILL need a CDM.

Odd statement really, yep a settled back four is great if you are a tight defensive unit, we are not. Worrying statement if the CBs tomorrow remain Gibson and Duffy.

Idah is never going to be a prolific goal scorer, just doesn’t have the instinct or awareness, but he is still ours and will one day make us a bit of money when he is moved on, Hwang on the other hand was a very poor signing when we could have chosen someone more suited to the championship…ridiculous signing. We had a ten day window In which to make a better choice.

Heading for the sort of mid table season I expected. Nice to see the likes of Rowe start well, hope to see more youth come through. With all players fit we could scrape the play offs, with injuries we are paper thin.

Won’t see Warner until the FA Cup. Unfortunately.
