nutty nigel 7,963 Posted February 4, 2015 Greetings PUPsand welcome to week twenty seven of our Rays Funds season. This week we have anotherformer champion with Beauseant in charge and making the final six selections. Beausis having his usual successful season with 15/18 83% correct selections. Aswell as being a previous champion Robin’s been one of our most consistentpickers always around the 80% mark. A lot of you will know Robin from hisArchant columns and he is the new chairman of the Norwich City SupoportersTrust. Beaus has been extremely unlucky in his previous attempts at the finalsix and none more so than last season where Holland inexplicably managed tomess up leaving him with yet another 5/6. So we all need to help him get hisname onto Ray’s signature and to follow up Hector’s great win from lastweekend. Don’t forget your picks must be played on Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend andbe listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites. For the match bet this weekendwe have the immediate return of my old buddy and top PUP Lappinitup to make theselections. Mick selected last week and doubled the bet but we got all thestakes refunded so I thought it only fair to put him straight back into batthis week. Mick will need your very best suggestions for City’s match at hometo Blackpool on Saturday to help him try and get some more funds for the CSF.Lapp, you have £12 to spend so you can choose up to twelve selections eitherfrom the PUPs suggestions or those of your own. Hector’sfantastic win last weekend took the season’s total to over £700. This is afantastic achievement. Raising this money helps us fund things like Saturday’sDS team’s game against Northampton. If any of you can make it here are thedetails from Emma : - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just a note to remind youthat the DS group have a fixture this weekend v Northampton at the FDC, Bowthorpe Park, Norwich,Norfolk NR5 9ED, kick off 11am. You are all more than welcome to come andwatch the team as they don the yellow and green and represent Norwich. Unfortunately I will be away with the girlsprogramme in Gillingham but Darren who you met will be there and some of theother coaches. On another note Darren has asked me tomention that he has a maximum of eight tickets remaining from his ticketsallocation for the game they are for seats in the Jarrold stand and are £10 soif any of your group are interested just let him know. On another note the DS tournament date willhave to change now and will take place on Saturday 21st March, before the Forest fixture, details to follow Em Emma Fletcher Charity Fundraising Officer ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If any of youPUPs are interested in the tickets let me know ASAP and I’ll try for you. Now I’ll handthis week’s thread over to Beauseant and Lappinitup. Remember there’s nopressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the CommunitySports Foundation. Good luck allyou PUPs... Take it away Robin and Mick ... the thread is yours.......[:)]......... Feedthewolf 5,931 Posted February 4, 2015 Chelsea are 1/3 to win at Villa. Villa can''t score to save their lives, and Chelsea should have Costa and possibly Fabregas back. If this was at Stamford Bridge it''d probably be more like 1/8, so good value IMO.As for the Norwich game, Norwich to win and both teams to score is 11/5 - considering the home win is 3/10, that''s a pretty big boost in odds for Blackpool to scrape a goal at some point. nutty nigel 7,963 Posted February 5, 2015 Germany for me. Wolfsburg beat Bayern Munich 4-1 in their last home game where as Hoffenheim have lost both league games since the break. Wolfsburg v Hoffenheim Home Win Found it surprisingly hard to predict for our game against Blackpool. New manager and unsure about team selection I guess. How about Russell Martin to score anytime.
