nutty nigel 7,902 Posted September 3, 2014 Welcome PUPs to week five of our Rays Funds season. This week we have anotherprevious winner of the final six with Vindo in charge and making the finalselections. Vindo got us one of our best wins of the season when his allcorrect final six won £46 last September. His quality is shining throughalready this season where he is on 3-4 75% in our PUPs league. So as you canall see the final six is in very capable hands again this weekend. Last week was just one of those weeks that we draw a line under and moveon. Poor Til1010 never stood a chance after so many results went against us. I’msure us PUPs will bounce back to form this weekend. It’s international weekendso many of our usual hunting grounds are not available. But there areinternational fixtures as well as some of the lower leagues. Don’t forget yourselection must be played on Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend and be listed on Bet365 orWilliam Hill web sites. Obviously there’s no Norwich bet this weekend. I have some news about the presentation of last season’s winnings of£655. We are a bit behind with this because there hasn’t been a suitablefixture at Colney to tie in with. Ricky Martin has been in touch and invited usto Colney on Monday 22nd September when the U21s are playing Leicester City at3pm. The plan is to do the presentation first then watch the match. I realise aMonday afternoon may not be ideal for some of you but if you can make it andwould like to come please let me know. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Vindo.Remember there’s no pressure because we areall going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand togetherwith the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation. Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Kev ... the thread isyours.......[:)]...... Mr Angry 2,019 Posted September 3, 2014 I think this might be a difficult week to make a lot of money on, I have struggled to find much.I''ve gone for the Korean K-League, where the leaders, Jeonbuk Motors, play Sangju Sangmu (listed on William Hill as Gwangju Sangmu but must surely be the same team). Sangju are in 9th out of 12 teams but have a poor head to head record against Jeonbuk. Jeonbuk have won 10 out of the last 14 at home to Sangju, and beat them 6-0 at home in July. Odds are 4/11 for a home win to Jeonbuk.Good luck to all PUPs and double luck to Vindo.

R Mellie 0 Posted September 3, 2014 Thanks for the flattering intro nutty, I shall of course do my utmost to pick a winning six and am delighted to have another opportunity on this great thread and cause. I will be popping back from time to time and making notes on all your undoubted quality picks, and am aiming to post a final selection later on Friday night (is there a particular cut off nutty?). Anyway, good luck all, and send me your best naps - taking a quick squint at the available fixtures leaves me feeling this will be as awkward as ever, but I have a good feeling our team spirit will see us through! Katie Borkins 1 Posted September 3, 2014 Right, well, after those Binners ruined my last pick I think it has to be the relative safety of League One:Peterborough (P5, Pts 12) to beat Port Vale (P5, Pts 5) if you please.Good luck, you lovely old boys and girls. YankeeCanary 0 Posted September 3, 2014
That''s ok YC, playing saturday.
Thanks Herman. I will stay as I was then. I''m sure when I first picked this it was showing as a Saturday match and then, when I clicked on a site later, it was showing under today''s date. Probably the beginning stages of losing my marbles.
