The two that I''ll always remember are

Norwich V Wolves at carra rud during the relegation season where from a free kick the goalie caught the ball but didn''t land properly and went over into the back of the net. It was a highlight of a particularly poor season and meant that I didn''t mind the drive home.

England V Scotland, Wembley, Euro ''96. Gazza. Possibly the best goal I''ve had the pleasure of watching and made all the better that it was against scotland.

"Chaaaaaaance!"

"That really takes the biscuit!"

Know what I mean?!

[/quote]
"Blocked on the line, it''s gonna go in, it''s gonna go in......"
That was such an incredible moment, don''t think I''ve ever seen Carrow Road go that mental.
Another one I will always remember is Goss vs Bayern at home to knock them out. I was 7 years old and remember it clear as day.
And Neil Adams smashing a penalty into the roof of the net against Brimingham away to give us a 3-2 win - only memorable because I was mascot that day :)

City wise, Iwan at Milenium, Jackson at Pompy, Holt at Anfield (Sat in the Kop for it) Both Goss''s goals against Bayern

But this is probably my fav of all time, had it been a higher proflie player or game it would get more recognition.

Simply stunning, unbelieveable technique

Jackson vs Derby.

I''ve never seen anything like it!

Also Wayne Rooney scoring that corker of a volley against Newcastle (I was there!)

The fella that falls over the advertisiing hoardings in that Derby game never fails to make me laugh. Pure comedy.

Bruce v Scum 1985 Milk Cup semi.

Stringer v Palarse  to keep us in Division One 1973. 35,000 crowd and a proper rendition of On The ball City.

McDougall v Man Utd League Cup semi 1975 to equalise 2-2 at Old Trafford. Very muddy pitch and a sloppy back pass which Ted seized upon to stick past Stepney and then give it the two handed two finger salute to the Stretford End.

Holt v Liverpool last season mainly because it was Liverpool.[;)]

I was right behind this when Safri took aim - we knew it was in before it even left his foot. Absolutley brilliant - how was it not ''Goal of the Season'' that year?

Didnt even make the MOTD shortlist for the 2004/5 season

Definitely Brucey in the semi final against Ipswich. Back in the days when people knew when and how to storm the pitch.

Always remember Ken Brown in the after match interview ''He didn''t even leave the deck! He''s telling us back there how he leaped up!" (Watching the goal).

Gonna see if i can find that interview on youtube - used to watch it over and over as a kid.

Goss vs Bayern definetly.

Dale Gordon''s winner against Man Utd at Carrow Rd in 1992 (might even have been in the FA Cup)

Paul Gascoigne''s Tottenham vs Arsenal FA Cup semi-final at Wembley when he scored the free kick from about 40 metres out just in from the left side touch line, curled it into the right hand side top corner. In my mind, still one of the best FA Cup goals ever.

Honourable mention - Robins vs Man Utd, Jackson''s at Pompey and any of the goals in the 9-1 aggregate victories over the Binners.

Can anyone else remember Louie Donowa sticking one past the great Peter Shilton from 40 yards out on the left vs Southampton circa 1985-6 or have I made this memory up?

Goss vs Bayern (a)

I ran out into the hall and did ''a Klinsmann'', getting severe carpet burns on both my elbows in the process

Drury vs Middlesboro

A few people had left the ground and there was about 6 empty seats between me and a girl on her own. When he scored, she sprinted and bundled us. In the male, she asked who scored. I said ''Drury'' and she screamed ''that''s my boyfriend!''. Proper fan wag. Always admired that. I think they are married now.

Fleck vs Millwall (a)

A very rare game on tv back then and a sublime finish.

Rosario vs Soton (h)

Goal of the season??

Polston vs 1p5swich

I had a few quid on Johnston to score first and us to win 2-1. At 90 mins I was due to win about £250 then Polston scored in injury time. I didn''t know how to feel but went mental anyway.

Remember that one well, takes me back that...sigh...

Ken Brown giving Bruce some stick as well ;) I''ve met Ken a lot over the years and he''s exactly the same now as he was then, alway smiling with a fantastic sense of humour. A true gent.

From my vantage point in the River End the scum defence parted like the Red Sea as Steve Bruce rose majestically to power that header home in the Milk Cup SF.

That and Safri v Newcastle. In the first few rows of the Barclay and right in line of sight behind him as he let fly. Knew it was going in and the way it swerved in the air on the way is forever etched in my memory.

I was there for Fash v Liverpool but can only remember it from subsequent TV pictures and not from the actual time. Was probably playing up in the Barclay at the time.

Matty Svenson against Wigan in Champs winning season. Wonderful 20yrd curler into the top corner.

Hucks v Birmingham in about 2007 - brilliant solo effort.

Jackson against Derby. A goal that will go down in NCFC folklore.

Honorable mentions for Bruce against Ipswich, Hartford/Chisholm in Milk Cup Final and the Gossy "specials" against Leeds & Bayern.
