Are you related to BW by any chance and share the family brain cell between you ?

I''d like us to stay in the Premiership for a mega long run while the Sc*m drop down into League 1 where they stay, their crowds continue to diminish and ColU becomes their big Derby!

The odd cup game and victory everytime against the Blue Sc*m would be good though and give them a chance to get a crowd over 10,0001

This scanario would be wonderful!

This ''steeped in history'' nonsense makes me laugh. What have they won - OK a very old Div One title; one FA Cup and that EUFA Cup thing for the also rans. Now that Huddersfield are promoted, yet another team joins the Championship with MORE history than them.

I agree with the OP, say we establish ourselves as a mid table team, a few years down the line we will have nothing to really look forward to.

2 Derby games every year would be great!

As long as we win every time obviously.

I hope they get relegated again. Sod any good will to them. The way they have been bragging on their forums about Ruddy being injured is pretty low. Probably the most exciting thing that has happened to them in the last three years.

Are you drunk Sir?

Are you an Ipswich fan Sir?

Are you a drunken Ipswich fan Sir?

Banish them to League One for eternity say I.

I admire your benevolence towards the disallusioned dimwits but clearly you have not had to put up with the abuse levelled at us by that lot at each and every downturn in our own fortunes.

They live in their incospicuous past. Let them live their fantasies out in a lower league than us forevermore.

I suspect it would only take him 60 seconds Nutty as they have become accustomed to cheap thrills out of necessity.

That may be why, I haven''t really had any massive reason to hate on them personally, nothing more than simply being a Norwich fan. I understand what you say about them dropping down the leagues but then what after that?

It would get boring not playing them.

I think the derby game is something to relish each season and if we''re destined to be a mid table team it gives us the chance of our own little victory every year, and if we don''t beat them one season.. the sweeter it will be the next time we do!

Nope Wing Wang, don''t understand your banter. I will only relax when the binfolks local derby is against Woodbridge Youth.

I''m surprised how many are against playing Ipswich regularly, I''d rather us be labelled the pride of East Anglia through beating a team which can actually compete, not just because we''re the only recognisable team in the region; through us beating them and not them crumbling on their own accord.

Does that make any sense to you?
