No trains to Wembley

Recommended Posts

OMG, looking like if we get to the final it’s chaos as no direct trains to London……..rail replacement buses.

Maybe your good friend @Badger could sort out a lift for you.

We won’t be getting to Wembley as our players are not good enough to get to the final play off.

The bin whiff on this board is strong

My thoughts exactly.  It's really sad that their first thoughts on going up aren't 'wow, we're up, we're back to the prem' but 'let's go over to a Norwich board, pretend to be Norwich fans and be all negative about their chances of going up through play-offs'.  I kind of feel sorry for them.

After their Hull game, I kind of forgot that they existed.  My focus was on my own team.

If there is a choice winning the playoffs is better than coming second! Looks like Club Cabbage could be busy.

That's been the situation for weeks. At least we won't have to share buses with scum fans.

But they are good enough to beat Binners like you. Go and play with your friend.

There wasn't any trains last time and we managed OK.

There were trains in May 2015! I went on one, albeit via Cambridge!

When we qualified there was a train strike planned so most people booked coaches, the strike was called off only a few days before the day of the game.

I’ve got 3 seats - let me know what qualities you would bring to the journey, I love stories about where you free park in Norwich. If this sounds like you, or you give me a free decent parking space the seat is yours!

If we get there, I'm sure Greater Anglia will be creative and add a few direct services to Liverpool St. via Cambridge. The new fleet of trains is very adaptable and they have decent spare capacity at weekends. They ran an 11 carriage London to Norwich via Lowestoft the other week when there were issues near Diss.

There are trains via Cambridge again or alternatively a relatively short bus replacement on the main line to London. Still a bit of a pain though!

I'm a bit confused how I managed to get there on one then?

Most people didn't risk it and travelled by coach, that could be arranged again.

What about a tendency for window licking? is that a desired attribute to secure a seat or do we need to stick with costa cabbage?

Seems there are trains with change in Ely to Kings Cross or change via Cambridge to St Pancras - same on the way back
